  1. Indirectly....but not in Gauteng, there it is used to pay for Juju's new house....
  2. Not really :-)
  3. So it is ok to point fingers while you are just as wrong? Edit: spelling
  4. Can you not see the bigger picture? Or are one off those who moan about what's on TV but don't pay your tv license?
  5. Iike the OP said he stopped. Thus doing the right thing so he has all the right to point out others. But if was doing the same and moaning would he have a leg to stand on?
  6. Go read my posts I said that cyclist are wrong BUT so are the driver. I never said what the cyclist are doing is ok. I am saying that because they are doing something wrong it does not give you as a driver the RIGHT to also break the law and then post a one sided story here. Skipping a red light is not a good idea, but if the OP was taking pictures of them doing it while skipping the light I would have pointed that out.
  7. I am yet to hear off anyone who got their phone back this way. Police are not interested as far as I know
  8. Do you want to tell me that anyone would do this? Who is going to trace the phone? By the time he MTN/CellC/Vodacom involved that phone has another sim card and I am yet to meet anyone who has got their phone back. You have to get a court order before any carrier will even think off tracing it, and it is not accurate.....honesly it ONLY happens in the movies.
  9. Karma, so you are saying that because THEY are wrong it is ok for the driver to ALSO do something wrong just to point out that they are WRONG? The logic is ....? I am NOT saying they are right or not a bunch of idiots BUT when someone else does something stupid on the road it does NOT give another person the RIGHT to do the same. THUS both the photo taker and the cyclist are equal idiots!
  10. And what you are doing is not wrong?
  11. Which one was proven incorrect ?
  12. Well said. You hit the nail on the head
  13. Not self-righteous, just calling a spade a spade. Like I said the cyclist is WRONG but the OP is also wrong!!! BTW talking about being self-righteous.....Pot calling the .......
  14. Yes and your point? I don't see anyone moaning at taxis.
  15. Awareness? Yea right....keep living in that bubble. Sout Africans dont learn and will never.
  16. OP, are you still saying that you need proof that the DRIVER took the picture?
  17. Where did I say that I am law abiding.....? I will stop anywhere. I drive like a taxi.....
  18. So breaking the law while pointing out that someone else is doing it ok?
  19. Not hot under the collar at all....
  20. I am saying that people who post these things are hippocrites. The OP was AS wrong as the cyclist but he wants to put the spotlight on them. I was reminding him off that fact. You should not point out that someone else is doing something wrong when you do the same. Right? If the OP never did anything wrong he has all the right in the world to point our others....
  21. No need to get personal
  22. Unless you drive a left hand drive car, it is pretty clear that they DRIVER took the picture, and my only assumtion was that YOU were the driver since you said YOU took the picture.
  23. If I was I would have said so. SA road rules are for the birds. I even started driving like taxis. The funny thing is that people hoot at me and not the taxi. Hippocrates.
  24. Look the photo. You see exactly where it was taken from. The drivers seat.
  25. I never said that. I am telling the op that he is as wrong as the cyclists. So why post something that is wrong while you are doing something wrong. I skip red lights on my bicycle all the time.
