You dont loose gears. You just start riding differently. This spinning at 150 rmp doing 1.3 km/h is for the birds anyway.....2 x 10 just makes you use a little more power like on a road bike and you keep your momentum.....using a bit more mucle but gonig uphile at 4 rather than 1.3 km/h is much better for the technical stuff anyway. You dont like it cause you have not tried it.

I don't agree. People sometimes don't post but still uses the hub to buy and sell stuff. It is not in everyone's personality to talk nonsense for 200 posts.

If someone has been arrested then it can be public knowledge so NO reason to withhold the persons name. Naas why not warn gunners about Gumtree also? You accuse TheV off buying something that might be stolen? How sure are you that EVERYTING you have bought in life is legit. Not just cycling stuff but anything from wood for the braai to speaker system? As people trading on the hub we can only do our best to not buy something that obviously looks to good to be true. Your post has NO value to the hub whatsoever.

No wonder the LBS struggled to assist you, you make NO sense..... If you want to complain here, then state the detail.....you cannot tell me that the BIKE shop did "NOTHING" surely they adjusted something, cleaned the bike? Or do you want to tell me that you collect your bike and pay and not notice that "nothing" was done? You are slating a bikeshop without any grounds. Get your story straight and try and make sense in your post. They did Nothing? Full service?(what is included in a full service?) Every bike shops idea of a Full Service is different and you should ask what is included. Is truing a wheel part of a Full service (please note it is wobbling or not true) "Warping" is a speed in Star Trek..... Is replacing wheel bearings, or only grease it again part or a Full service? Is replace all cable and housing part or the Full service? Is just adjusting cables and gears part of a Full service? Honestly LBS owners must have lots of patience!

I would like to know why Slowbee so often locks a topic? Closes it or delets it? The ASG one come to mind? The warning he often issues. "your warning level had increased" Why was the ASG one deleted. Even if the OP asked? Surely other people also had simulat questions and could then search to see what was said? Slowbee clearly does not like certain people on the hub and I have been watching thus for months now. He needs to drop the attitude.

We know that some conversations can be wide-ranging, but if you post something which is unrelated to the original topic ("off-topic") then it may be removed, in order to keep the thread on track. This also applies to queries or comments about moderation, which should not be posted as comments. Those comments should be removed NOT lock the topic? And it also seems that we are not allowed to ask question about Moderation? Secrecy bill? Come on Matt, Slowbee is not acting according to the rules, but rather like he owns the place.

Do a search and see how often this place is according to the world of Slowbee! The point is there was another excample of Slowbee abusing his power. His moderation should be suspended and that is based not only on this but many other good debates that got closed, deleted or locked. This is a public forum not Life according to Slowbee!!!!
