This was my first DC and found it very enjoyable. I personally dont see the need for support vehicles, have a few feeding points with roving neutral cars. There are too many unprepared riders and novices with back-up drivers who have limited understanding of the dynamics of cycling in groups etc. My 2cents worth!

GP 4000's excellent tyre & Gatorskins for training, the rest wear too quick in comparison.

Has top of the range SRam, a limited edition (yellow detail). I didnt get into the cost but I think its +-R80,000 for the frame but I am sure there are others here that could be more accurate! Full bike was +-6kg at a guess.
