Noted and I understand. I too rode a barely sub 4 from FL and managed at the water points, but I must have just gotten lucky. I must say a Super M or a Ice cold Coke at the end would have been nice.

Rasta, I do agree with you regarding safety concerns. Splitting cyclists with cars, doing 120 +, with a cone barrier isn't sufficient to say the least. However, from my point of view as a slower rider the WP wasn't an issue as it is being made of. One of the comments I made to my mates was, as a slower rider who only gets to the water points at a later stage the liquids provided (whatever it is) is always lukewarm where as with the BCC it was ice cold. TBH I'll take an ice cold water,powerade or coke any day over a lukewarm drink of my choice. Secondly, when is people going to understand that expecting the organisers to provide each individuals drink of choice at each WP is unreasonable?

On another note, I have a couple of mates also looking for entries. Either Half or Full marathon entries. So AFTER Corne has been sorted, please PM me if you have anything.

+1 on all of the above. Nothing wrong with Titan. Don't go for the real cheap stuff, due to weight, suspension (which might as well be rigid), sluggish shifting, overall dynamics of the bike. These are all things that might put you off of cycling for no good reason. Budget?

Be careful not to let the extras up your price too much, you're after the bike after all.
