  1. That finish is steep! Gotta feel for the poor moto driver...
  2. Ashley sitting in a group, more than 6min down on Vollering and Van Vleuten who are running away with the show.
  3. I'm aware she herself announced the retirement plans. What I'm getting at is that athletes frequently change their minds regarding retirement. Think of Tom Brady, he was retired for something like 2 months until he realized he can't sit around the house with Gisele 24/7, not just yet. If she wins Yellow, sure, she will have ticked that off her checklist and retire. But if she finishes 2nd on GC, missing out on the win by seconds, she might extend her career one more year. That is what I am pondering.
  4. I saw an article somewhere stating that she is reconsidering retirement. Not sure how true that is, but winning or even just placing high on the GC standings might reinvigorate her enjoyment and she then might delay retirement by another year or two.
  5. Imagine having Valtteri Bottas handing you your Bidon...
  6. Early days, but AMP currently in 5th on GC!
  7. Lead Group contains AMP! 10km to go!
  8. OK, final one then I'm done Lets pin this post and come back to it in the 2040s. We all know the kid has the Genes for it...
  9. Excuse my ignorance, but can someone please explain these "Grapes" categories shown in the TDF Femmes Stage 4 Profile?
  10. "You know what, I'd bet this Trophy can double as a Vase..."
  11. This was the best TDF in recent memory for me, and like this tweet, I also think it is actually best for the TDF that Pogi didn't win this year. (Even though I personally really like the guy and his racing style)
  12. Surely JV can't win 4 stages in a row? Can they? I'm thinking Jacobsen and Phlillipsen in contention for the Win, Jacobsen coming out on top.
  13. Valteri, putting a word in for TDF Femmes.
  14. Pogacar and Vingegaard are both matching the pace of Wout! The stage victory is still up for grabs.
  15. Wout smashes it, beats Ganna by 41s! Monster ride!
  16. Wout is eating this course for breakfast. 24s faster than Ganna at Time Check 2. GC top 10 has started rolling off the ramp.
  17. WvA is on the course... 7s ahead of Ganna within 6min of rolling off the ramp. Official time splits will give us confirmed time splits
  18. So what are our predictions for the ITT? Wout has to be the clear favourite. But who will run him close? Pog will be all-in, so worth a shout. Ganna, although not on top form, should be close. Gee has a solid TT in him, so a strong outside shout. Laporte was ahead of Lampaerd in the Stage 1 TT, before he fell. Dark horse for the win.
  19. Tadej attacks the peloton on a flat stage!
  20. Puncture for Pogacar... So much for a sleepy stage!
  21. Meintjies missed the split Commentators are 2nd-guessing themselves now, maybe Louis is in the front group, to be confirmed... Moot point, two groups all back together
  22. And then suddenly, a split in the peloton!
  23. Break about to be swallowed up... Fresh breakaway attack loading...🔋
