    There seems to be some confusion whether it was SKY rule or policy ... if it was a rule / policy why wasn't it well known or was it just something Brailsford said to Walsh in passing ... Seems clear that he needed the TUE to get better. And he's not on chronic TUE's all the time.

    IMO, he did the right thing in accordance with the rules laid down by UCI and what he knew at the time. Storm in a tea cup, its not as if he applied for TUE for EPO ...

    He got a TUE for prednisone for a chest infection at the Tour of Romandie. In 6 years he has applied for 2 TUE's - so I think its far removed from "...hiding behind a whole bunch of listed drugs ..."

    The point is that those things I mentioned doesn't increase performance. He followed UCI rules and doctor's advice on TUE and he & the SKY doctor wasn't aware of any SKY policy of not racing on TUE. In any event, he should not be blamed if the team decided to race him under a TUE and its in accordance with the rules.

    To be fair, I don't think you can compare an asthma pump, bilharzia drugs & an espresso with EPO and blood doping ...

    He mentions that he worked at Cycle Lab Fourways .. doesn't mention other bike shops by the name.

    Its told as a fact. He didn't get an invite from Wiggo to his "Yellow Ball" victory celebrations and was also left out of a bonus payment from Wiggo to all the riders that had ridden for him as a token of his appreciation

    So feedback. Excellent book and well worth the read. Gives great insight into his early years growing up in Kenya and then how he moved on to SA and Europe. I liked the detail on training techniques at SKY and racing methodology used by them. Sir Wiggo comes off as a TOTAL a-hole. Couldn't believe he shared his 2012 TDF winning bonus with the whole team except Froome (even after Froome basically gifted him the win & accordingly the subsequent knighthood!)
