I am compleeting my new Fixie build during this week before CM. Experiencing difficulty sorting out my ratios to enable a comfy ride... Running a 37t Redline Bmx crank up front with 165(?)mm crank arm length. Have a 16, 17, 18t cog for the back. With that crank arm length what will be a comfortable ratio? My MTB runs a 32-16 ratio. Any advice?

I want to build a wooden disc wheel as experiment for a project of mine. Does anyone know of a wheelbuilder in SA for wooden rims? Or any advise when I want to try to do it? Something like this perhaps.. or
Random question.... Don't know whether its been asked or whatever! Wrong thread or something like that, but seeing that SS's is focused a little more on custom built, anyone here don't perhaps, sort-off, accidently, maybe just, have a spare unwanted set of mousthache bars lying around? PLEAAAASSSSEEE!!!!!!
I used a set of really old road levers, adapted sligthly for internal cabling & machined bar end plugs accordingly. It was fitted on some old handlebars, cut & turned for "bull horns" Still have the bars & levers for part of my new build. Give me a shout should you need some help or anything else.

Strangely enough I would expect loads of really old & unique frames in SA, as - according to Wikipedia - We where quite influential in the use of bicycles in the war times... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bicycle_infantry Wonder were all of those cycles has gone/dissappeared to?
