My Garmin Fenix 6 was not holding a charge. Took it to Garmin they confirmed there was a battery issue and offered me a new Fenix 8 for around R7,800. Around a 70% discount I think.

I had entered this year and they did send an email to notify us - still disappointing. I did it last year and can confirm there is no secret whatsapp group 😂. I have the route in gpx if anyone keen to do it.

Agreed - the food was great! And i can compare - was much better than Woolworths last year. The fresh fruit and variety thereof was next level and the added things like biltong, popcorn etc. during the Rugby on Saturday was a nice touch too.

sure, but do the organisers not have the route for this year we can download - surely they have ridden the route beforehand?

I have managed to find an answer to my question. Mello Velo in fourways stocks them and if they do not have they will order for you. I also found them at Solomons in Woodmead. Very nice indeed and a good price.
