  1. I have the same trouble with mine! Its such a mission to get the thing to charge or to connect to anything as it doesnt make good contact!! Why not just go mini USB????
  2. I can also attest to their great service! I had some major difficulty getting a Downhill tire off of a rim and went there for some assistance.... they sorted me out without any trouble. The guys in the shop are really friendly and willing to help with even the smallest problem or question! +1 to the Lynnwood Cyclery team!!
  3. Buy a Unicycle!!! Its much more fun!!! and for that budget range you can get a top of the range Unicycle that you can go wherever a MTBer can go!!
  4. Ive got the same exact question! The Garmin 200 seems a bit too fancy on the outside, not a rough and tough look so dont know if it will survive a drop. What is the difference in software and which would be your preference?
  5. These morons came racing past me on the N4 the other day!!! Just to arrive at the toll gate 2 min before me and me passing them through the tollgate...... then they came racing and pushing me to the left just so that they could get to the next toll gate for the same story! I would've loved to flip them the bird!! Bastards!
  6. Will Definitely see you tomorrow Morning! Hows about some info on club shirts etc. Have a good one!
  7. Lekker ry-ding........... en die bike lyk ook nie te sleg nie.....
  8. Where can I buy the quick release for the front? I have a 1400 Nissan trokkie and would love to do this!

  10. +1 its all in the mind I suspect.
  11. I have a BlackBerry Curve 9300 and it works great! Love that you get all the stats as a summary! You can even send out challenges to your friends! Had one here with the guys at the office.... nothing like a good office rivalry!! I would like to know about the HRM that you apparently can use with this.
  12. Awesome, so I will go for the best fit My other half sees it as a fashion statement......... wants one that fits with her bike........
  13. Im picking up my first MTB tomorrow morning and I need to get a helmet. Im no pro so I wont be buying a super expensive 103vent helmet...... What I would like to know is which brand is the best for entry level MTBiking? bang for buck?
  14. if only it was off road......
  15. Goooooooood Morning!!!! This week hopefully sees the arrival of my first MTB! I cant wait to hit the trails!!! Hope you all have a good one!!!!
  16. If I wasnt sitting at my desk I would have been on the couch with Popcorn watching this thread!
  17. I think its a GREAT idea!! Being an Artisan/Tradesman myself, I know how difficult it is to get the practical experience to put with your qualifications! All the companies want guys with 5 to 10 years experience, BUT NONE of them want to give you the chance to prove yourself or to get the experience! Now I know we live in SA and that the companies take a risk in employing people without practical experience.......or with limited experience. The days of apprenticeships are long gone and that is why the country is sitting with a skills shortage! I say bring it back like in the old days!!! Hard graft with PROPER development! Just my 5c worth!
  18. The Misses and I started MTBiking recently and we are really enjoying it together! Its our "US" time! And her being an exercise freak is a good thing for me trying to get my fitness up! The bike I bought her was a better investment than the engagement ring.......
  19. So our first ride was AWESOME! The people were really very friendly and helpfull, always asking if we were okay and still good to go. I will def have to sharpen my Single track skills..... girls with cleats clipped passed me where I was clicking out to be safe..... My general fitness helped me alot and I could stay with the guys the whole way. Now its time to get ourselves our OWN bikes so that we can do it whenever we want!! PS: My ass is toast!!!! after a serious ASS-esment I noticed a blue mark..... one very bumpy section did its job very well!!
  20. Staurday morning will see me doing my first clubride and I dont know what to take with.... with regards to food and drinks on the trail. I haven't been cycling much, but the guys invited me to see if I would like it. So give me your opinion/advice on what to eat tonight, tomorrow morning and during/after the ride!
  21. Well, the Fuji's at Solomans are all sold out in my size so I guess the choice is made for me........ just so much more expensive than the Fuji...
  22. Ek is ook nogal skrikkerig vir my 'nether regions' wat dalk beskadig kan word..... moet nog die bevolking laat groei!
  23. Good for Cycling and green living on the whole....... What I dont understand is why cant the officers ,on the beach front patrol, not use normal bicycles? just my 5c worth.
  24. Does anyone know what type of Guarantee they give on their frames? Will the 2011 Fuji Tahoe 4.0 be a better buy than the Merida TFS300? The Merida goes for R5699 and the Fuji goes for R4499.95. That R1200 difference...... HELP ME GUYS!!
