I have a 2010 Small Merdia Carbon 96 Dual Suspension - with XT group set - Fox shocks - Tubeless Maxis types - Looking for R15000 Weight around 12kgs The Fuji is a nice bike but it is a bit heavy

Checked with Giant - according to there computer they have 1 XS dual suspension Model Trance X4 - very entry level comes with Deore / Alivio drive train - Giant are not sure if that bike is in there warehouse but if you want me to follow up drop me a private mail and I can give you more details.

FUJI do a 13.5" ladies DUAL suspension bike but unfortunately the FUJI importers dont bring that specific model into South Africa I could make enquires with the importer (we stock FUJI) and see if they are prepared to bring you a 1 off bike in with there next shipment and at what price. We are agents for Momsen in Durban - you can't beat Momsen with value for Money - Victor has left nothing off when he specd the bikes - on the AL729 for example he has even put ICE rotors on these bikes (about R600 each)- full XT and ZTR crest wheels for 20k - most makes of bikes have a 20K 29r but they take short cuts to get to the 20k price point EG Elxir brakes and or cheap wheels and even sometime skimp on the fork. Just on the Dual Sus bikes - there have been a few issues with the frame and they are all on hold at the moment until Momsen sort the problem out

Just spoken to Farmer Glen and he has asured me that day 2 is not MUCH easier that last year - it is basically the same route as last year EXCEPT that,that bitch climb at the end of the day with the tricky decent over the rock is no more. They have made a track down next to the tar road on the right hand-side into the overnight stop

Momsen AL729 comes in at R19990 - FULL XT - brakes everything with Crest Wheels - Tubeless conversion Cannot beat that !!!! Weight is quote at just over 11kgs

Thule is by far the best bike rack - Thule offer many different option and configerations from the enter level 2 bike rack up to the top of the range 4 bike carrier. They are slight more expensive than holdfast but the extra few SA rants is well worth it.
