  5. My opinion....Token. Have tried Reynolds, DarkHorse and Pro-Lite....but Token is by far the best rolling set I have ever owned.
  6. Been following the thread, hoping for a positive outcome. R.I.P Condolences to all friends and family.
  7. LOL! Although Silo Hill is the "best" we have to offer...at least we have Suikerbosrand just around the corner! and that's where most of my training gets done!
  8. Good day Fellow Bike Lovers I am currently riding with an 11 speed Ultegra 50/34 Compact crank. I am possibly considering switching over to oval chainrings but I need a bit of advice before I do so. When switching over to oval chainrings, do I keep the 50/34 ratio or do I change to 52/36? Who had experience with Rotor oval chainrings and with Absolute Black oval chainrings - How do they compare to each other? Any pointers or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  9. Would like to know the answers to these questions as well. Many daft comments being made on this thread. Many factors contributed to the cancellation of the event, which are not in our nor in the organizers hands. All individuals with negative and angry comments, please get some perspective as people's lives and wellbeing is bigger than a cycling race.
  10. Also have a small Lazer helmet which I am willing to postnet down to Cape Town. Let me know should you require the helmet.
  11. Good morning all. Now I believe it is possible to "convert" a 10 speed freehub body to be 11 speed compatible via "machining". Please could anyone who have experience on this topic give me a shout? I would like to convert my current 10 speed body to be 11 speed compatible, as I am unable to find a new freehub body that will be compatible with the hub of my wheel. I am located in the Gauteng area (Joburg South), if any of you know someone who can assist me in the Gauteng area, please let me know. Regards, Jackson.

  13. First Tour Durban for me, my wife and brother. Absolutely loved it, one of my favourite races.....and we are from Gauteng, nothing to moan about at all.
  14. Mentioned previously, UK 11 (EU 46) and UK 6 (EU 40). Thanks.

  18. Thanks for all the replies gents, really appreciate it. By the looks of the thread, I would say that 10 spd Record it is then.
  19. Thanks Furbz. What made you decide to go for the Chorus then? Very important for me is your last sentence: "IMO having the extra gear hasn't made any impact on my riding whatsoever."
