  1. From having been at the AGM's before, the "changes" are largely dictated to the members present, and the AGM is a formality to vote in what the committee has decided to do.
  2. there's already the option of that, with a Classic Smart / Essential Core etc and bank the savings a la Momentum Health Rewards. No other changes to med aid apart from the annual revisions which were shown in september, and there was no real change apart from in Keycare, which doesn't really affect many people here (I assume)
  3. Nothing stopping you from doing both... I mean, unless you didn't use any of the benefits, the 2 are not mutually exclusive (Vitality and ebucks / banking)
  4. or, like some of our clients, who got the original cash conversion and whose Vitality statuses we manage properly - don't you dare touch that policy! The unfortunate thing is that in order to get some of these new things on the life policy side, you have to make some fundamental changes to some of the benefits / discounts / structures of the policy, which in some cases aren't in the clients' best interests. BUT. On the top tier benefits, with integration, vitality engagement, and proper structuring of the policy, it really is flippin difficult to beat, and sometimes impossible - much like Momentum's integration with Multiply, but more so. I'd LOVE to be able to change some of my clients who are perpetually on blue status, but quite frankly I can't, in some cases.
  5. It started off as being utter shaite, but this latest iteration is superb ito functionality and UI design. If the bank app works as shown, it'll be a far more streamlined experience than any I've personally experienced, and FAR better than the interactions I've had with Standard (which have been utterly horrid - can't do ANYTHING without going to a branch, where the employees are bound to reams and reams of paperwork and work slower than Flash Flash 100 yard dash (Zootropia reference)
  6. yeah, I'm far more excited about this than their life policy enhancements, which just add more complexity to an already overly complex product. It's a GREAT product, if used properly, but there are sooo many permutations that from a client perspective, and from a non-discovery tied agent perspective, they just don't know where to start or what to compare it against ito products from other providers.

  10. Oh and all cashbacks will go to a separate "cashback" account, instead of your normal account where they mostly get lost in the noise. Vitality reward points (a la Vitality challenge thing) can also be converted to ZAR in that account.

  12. Not explicitly. 2 options, either pay per transaction (said to be "lowest in the market") or a "bundled fee" which is "market related" and I presume tiered according to the card you're on. IE cheoaer for the lower level card cos it gives you fewer benefits.

Bank is entirely digital (no branches) Low fees All Disco Card clients can opt in immediately upon launch (March) Instant payment to any bank (truly instant, not like Standard bank's "instant" payment that can take 4 hours) for R5 (pay per transaction offering) or NOTHING (bundled transactional account) Pay anyone whose contact details you have, who is also a disco client, simply by selecting the contact in-app from your contacts list. To be rolled out to non-disco clients as well so you can pay ANYONE in your contact list even if they're not on the Disco system 4 card levels (like normal) Rolling out airport lounges and shared lounge access agreements from 2019 Interest rates tied to your Vitality Money status. Higher status = lower lending rate, higher savings rate. Vitality Money status tied to "financial health" = responsible handling of money. Will dive into that later. Additional up front discount on Life policies (increases on premium tied to spend on card a la Card Integrator) FREE IPHONE XR for all bank clients. Done the same way as the watch, but no activation fee. Both CC and Transactional account. Global credit limits Garmin / Samsung / Apple pay integration That's what I can remember off the top of my head. More to come, and clarification, later.
