Definitely restore it, but don't respray. A clean up and clear coat maybe to preserve it. I good service and polish will yield amazing (and cheap ) results

I have an Nuovo Record Alan circa 1983 and a 531 Hansom with DA 7400. More often than not, I choose to ride them above my carbon fibre BH with Chorus. Call me nostalgic, but I love the retro feel and look......

Hi Eppie, What Mavics do you have available. I might be interested if Greg is already sorted. I have a nice set of Dura Ace hubs with DB spokes on Mavic MA4 clinchers to swop for a Campy set if anyone keen. My Alan is full Campy except for the wheels and that just wont do.
