  1. Forgot about this event and seems entries have closed. P.M. me if you have an entry to sell(Half marathon).
  2. Thanks for the link! Funny how the demo is on a purg as well
  3. Have any of you used the old version of the Conti MK? I also have a Spesh Purgatory that I had on the front (which was awesome!) with a ghetto tubeless conversion which ended in a side wall cut +/- 10mm long, I would like to try and patch the cut and use the tyre with a tube, is this advisable? If I can patch the Purg (26x2.2) I am thinking of running it on the front and the MK (26x2.4) on the back. Yes the purg is marked as a 2.2 but it seems the same width as the MK. Grip and rolling wise should I go Purg front and MK rear or the other way around?

  13. Sounds like there should be a few of us flying from JHB as well as CT. We can meet up at the two airports as little groups and merge in Dubai as mentioned Who is planning for atleast one buck wild night out? If we are going to have a recovery day or two anyway....
  14. Based on toughness, 40Km Trail seeker at VG > than 50Km USN at BRB. BRB is smooth and flows nicely, VG is rough, soft and steep and you have to put in a bit more effort to keep the bike rolling than you do at BRB.
  15. I have it with a small limit on it for emergencies and this is an emergency!
  16. Month end guy! This was a on the spot decision so I have nothing saved! Its going to take me two paychecks to get the deposit together so month end will be one paycheck and a credit card
  17. Man I'm so keen! Are we there yet?!
  18. Just how expensive is it to hire a bike over there? I am thinking that for a day or two I should hire a DH rig if I feel confident to tackle the bigger stuff otherwise I'll just be on my AM the rest of the time.
  19. "Hey look... a deer!" You just summed up why I want to go. Air time can be had anywhere but the vibe of a certain place and moment can't!
  20. Which one is the best? Depends who you ask... I went from 2012 SLX on my xc bike to avid XO on my all mountain build. Had avids on for 15 minutes, pulled them off sold them and bought new XT. Avids just don't cut it for me but different strokes for different folks!
