Have you sorted accommodation?

I will give the place a call and double check availability for the dorm. I have three mates driving up from Durban which might all stay there as well (some of us might camp). The next mission is to arrange a shuttle for Saturday practice, If there is enough of us to warrant taking my van we can use it to shuttle I will just have to arrange a driver.

Well at this point in time I am going down in my little Chev Utility with canopy, If there are 6/7 of us going down and one of us has a car to load people in, I could leave my canopy at home. We load the bikes and gear on the van two of us up front and the rest in the car. Traveling wise if I say R2000,00 per car which should cover fuel and tolls both ways thats say R670,00 per person. Plus your accomodation and chow.

Earning interest in a separate account Transfered that last bit this morning, I am just waiting for my bond to go off in the next few days. I should just sell the property and use some of the profit to pay for France then I dont have to kiss my savings goodbye

I have found some accommodation +/- 8km from cascades, R90 pppn for camping and R130pppn in a six bed dorm.

I feel your pain! My plan of action for this enduro is, Leave on Friday after work, camp in PMB, practice all day on Saturday, "race" Sunday, Have lunch and chill before heading back Sunday afternoon. Now if only I could get my hands on something like a Hyundai H1 (with a tow bar) that seats many it would make such an awesome road trip and not that costly if your splitting the travelling costs between 6-10 people...

Note to self: don't give omega man expensive coffee, he spills the stuff more than he drinks it!

He does have most of the equipment to do this but he had to choose one event for the month and he chose to do the enduro at cascades Saving for next years trip is making his funds disappear!

Very awesome that the race is getting enough support! I will be there to spectate and cheer on the boys and girls as I couldn't enter. Excited to see the track!
