  1. Hi Frosty I do use Connect Garmin App on my phone under most circumstances but the Updates to software I think work through Express only ?
  2. Hi Guys Hope I am posting in the correct forum. My Garmin Express as well as my Forerunner 945 no longer want to connect to each other via my home WiFi which has always worked in the past. When I make my cell phone into a hotspot to the laptop, then both the watch and Garmin Express are able to find each other and do their syncing and updates etc. no problem. I have tried the Garmin Website for help via their live chat (USA I think) as well as the RSA helpline who's number "does not exist any longer" when I try dial it but no luck with either. Anyone have this happen to their router no longer allowing Garmin nor their Watch to find an internet connection ? My router at work my Watch can connect to but we are not able to download Garmin Express. Maybe Eskom power failures upset my home router ? I did a hard reset on the home router and reset name and passwords again but everything else in the house connects to the Wi-Fi except Garmin ? Bit puzzled here.
  3. Made a mistake, turns out the bleed fitting does fit. I had to remove the saddle to get the correct angle for the thread to take. Did another bleed to make sure all bubbles were out.
  4. Hi Guys I found this small little ball inside the chamber for the lockout lever. Any idea where it belongs ?
  5. I recieved the bleed kit but the two brass fittings were only suitable to the thread in the lever and were too small for the actual seat post thread which is one size bigger diameter. I managed to use an extra nylon type swage nipple in the kit and jammed it tight in the hole and was able to still sucessfully bleed the system and the dropper is working 100%. The seller was not sure what the correct fitting should be as the kit he supplied is more geared toward the Reverb stealth where the bleed screw for the post is inline with the hose and has the same thread as the lever. For future I would like to get the correct fitting, but there seem to be two types listed/shown on Sram instruction manual/parts list. They show a threaded unit on their manual but the part number from the diagram brings up a non threaded fitting just with an O-ring. Anyone actually done this job with the non stealth type dropper post with externally routed pipe ?
  6. Kit including oil 14 GBP *Edit https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/113658733974 * Transport about ZAR 273 based on dimension and weight given by seller. You welcome to borrow mine once it arrives if you in my province
  7. All sorted, Registered on Aramex and used local UK address and they forward to you via courier. Thanks for all the advice - bleed kit on route for reasonable price.
  8. Hi All Haven't bought anything from overseas in years and just wondering if I ordered a Reveb Bleed kit from Ebay in the UK, would it ever get here ? The only postage option is UK mail, but I'm not sure if it would make it to me via the S.A Post office. Any suggestions ?
  9. I can try him I guess. Thought he may only keep full kit. Will swing past tomorrow. The only online ones cost so much in postage from Europe that it doesn't make financial sense
  10. Anyone know where I could get these loose ? I just need to to a quick oil service and don't need the whole seal kit. Thanks
  11. I managed to get the car off my name last Friday, even though we had to meet together after 12 months of no contact at the ML department. She got it roadworthied and in her name same day and I took the fines off my 2nd last alimony payment and there were no complaints. Shu. Nothing further tying me to her. Clean slate.
  12. Howzit all fellow divorcees I have a quick question. The car I gave to my ex as part of the divorce was left in my name but the agreement is filed that she is liable for licensing, fines and upkeep. She decided to lend the vehicle to my two kids at various times and between them have racked up almost R6k in fines. As I am two months away from my last Maintenance payment I advised her that I would pay the fines to clear my name and take off the portion from my next payment to her. She obviously got the hell in and said she told the kids to sort the fines which neither have done. My son who I still support is working and could afford his small portion but my elder daughter is out of work, pregnant and is back living with me so I support her 100% ( Don't ask about the father of the unborn ????) Have I a legal footing to withhold a payment if she refuses to sort the fines seeing as I never was involved with the decision to give her car to the kids? I bought each of my kids a car without the ex helping a cent towards them. Or do I have to go to court to enforce the paying of the fines as a separate issue ? I think at the same time I am going to take the vehicle off my name. Thanks guys
  13. Struggeling to find these Tires in RSA - any hope they will ever arrive in this size again. My current tyres are getting a little tired up front.
  14. Thanks. I have bought the orings already. All I need is a bleed kit which I haven't yet found. Have a complete spare dropper post and lever from a mate of mine that got diddled by a guy on gumtree that sold him a dud and he wasn't prepared to pay for it's service and repairs so I scored it for parts.
  15. I remember when I got the dropper back from service the speed control was not operating properly and it seems that O-ring is a bit tired as well as the piston o-ring an there was a fair bit of moisture in the lever. The piston o-ring has a nylon backing ring. The sizes I measured Hose saddle end 4.2x1.5 Hose lever end 4.5x1.5 Filler plug 4x1 Piston 4.2x2 Speed control 9.4x1.5
