  1. Happened to mine also, they replaced it with a TB 3. I didn't really complain much :-)
  2. Stans race may be expensive but you get what you pay for. Even on road tires. Couldn't get Maxxis Rambler rear tire to hold air with 2 other sealants only Stans Race did the trick, 3 weeks and counting since I had to top up my pressure.
  3. can anyone on this thread confirm if you have managed to successfully run a 34T Oval chain ring on a Tallboy 3 2017?
  4. You will not regret it! Awesome frame.
  5. It definitely feels worse!
  6. if I owned this then the answer to your question would be NEVER!
  7. good idea!
  8. Weird you found the bike heavier than all the others, perhaps the 20" is different. In that range i found the avalanche to be pretty light compared to the competitors. Without the training wheels on it inst too shabby. My daughters 16" Titan was way heavier. Will try and weigh it and post it here, just need to go visit Pikey and borrow his fishy scale again
  9. perhaps someone on here can assist or point me in the right direction. Frames are extremely hard to find / come by. I currently have a Fuji Cyclocross bike but it is just too big. Listed in the classifieds. Im looking to buy a smaller frame but I just cant seem to find anywhere that sells just a frame, the ones that I have found are ridiculously expensive. Any of you know where i can get a decent reasonably priced frame max 5K is there even such a thing? Looking for a 54 i have a 58 https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/298902-gravel-cx-swap-l-58cm-for-m-54cm-frame/
  10. I bought this for my son not sure on the weight though. 12" was too small 16" too big. Was the only decent one i could find. I didnt purchase from Sportmans warehouse but I see it is available there. I got mine at Solomons https://www.sportsmanswarehouse.co.za/product/avalanche-junior-storm-boys-14-bike-2018
  11. This was super cool too watch!!!! Proud dad and chuffed kid. Well done to the instructor.

    PERMA TUBES

very old thread I know but didnt see the need to start a new one, I am looking for perma tubes for my son's bike. 14" seems to be hard to find does anyone know where I could get? or even tubeless 14" tyres?
  14. I dont necessarily want to tow her and she might even do the full distance I am just thinking if i am far from the car and she is done how do i get her back. Sort of a backup plan...
  15. Been reading through the thread but there are a lot of pages and haven't found what i'm looking for.... please help. Our group has now got a kiddies group and they do around 15km ride every weekend. I want to take my daughter along for the first time, she can ride but I am not sure if she can ride the distance. in case she needs help in the last few km what is the best way to tow them without these fancy trailers? and without a chance of hurting them? A normal tow rope around both bikes? When i think about it I always think of those videos where towing has gone wrong and through the car windscreens. In this case rope in the teeth Anyone tow their kids around?
