  1. How good was that ride from Willie Smit at the world champs! Had the Anatomic family beaming with pride seeing our kit out there too. And in further news he's signed with Katusha for the next two years - definitely going places this young man Well done Willie
  2. There will be a clothing stand Oxter, not 100% sure what will be on it, but knowing Vera there will be some serious bargains. We also made some really cool Crater Cruise T-shirts
  3. Ipic Aurora Shopping Centre, Burton St & Aurora St, Aurora, Cape Town, 7550Open: Mon-Fri: 09:00 - 17:00Sat: 09:00 - 13:00shop.ct@anatomic.co.za021 975 3549Juandre - 082 3381 591juandre@anatomic.co.za
  4. We do do 3/4's... We do a full leg thermal fleece bib too, long sleeve thermal top, thermal chest warmer, arm/leg/knee warmers. I always recommend layers as ride conditions can change a lot on a long ride - best bits of kit to start with are ear warmers, arm warmers and a chest warmer (they're also nice and cheapish). Wear those with normal kit and a wind proof outer jacket like our pac-me shell and you're good for most cooler conditions. And it's easy to downscale your warmth protection as the day warms up.
  5. Great second place from Alan Hatherly today at the U23 World Champs. His kit doesn't look half bad either https://www.facebook.com/pg/UCIMountainbike/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1606890932666243
  6. Weird that... Fenix 3's are still probably the most common of their high end watches
  7. LWB, will be around R220 in the shops for the caps - getting final production samples of the initial range this week - very excited
  8. We do have clearance of old stock and rejects etc from time to time at our Crater Cruise and 24hr Southern Skies events - but that's I guess not of much value for you out of town guys.
  9. My boss has a 62cm pip and it fits him comfy... and as always, "custom sportswear" doesn't just mean the design, we can add a cm to the elastic if really needs be for these, but I would guess you will be just fine with the stock standard one.
  10. We've actually looked at it before, but I think for the sake of advertiser neutrality the BikeHub guys can't really be favoring any one brand. Maybe they can put us on rotation... Will test the waters though
  11. Those old gold label shorts lasted forever... we still get requests for them all the time from people who've been using them for decades. Luckily for the sake of return business they went out of style as I'm not sure they would ever give up the ghost Thanks for the feedback
  12. Thanks for the feedback guys... working on a lightweight peak and cap so looks like we're on the mark for now. Will hopefully have some finished samples in the next week or so to show off.
  13. Excited about the new cycling cap we have developed - looks like an old school cotton cycling cap, but unlike cotton, these are fully printable... Should be ready for custom orders in a couple weeks time. Stock ones also will start appearing in our shops before the end of September - 8 unique designs already in production and counting. Time to up your Cap game
  14. Fat Boab, we had a bit of a disaster with our gripper dots not being correctly cured for a production week a while back, early 2016 I think it was. It's a real egg on face moment and we can only apologise. The shorts should still function pretty much fine without them, but that was obviously never the plan. Some folks (our CEO included) prefer the clean lycra finish... but again, that's not what you bought into. We've fixed most of the shorts free of charge, but obviously tarnished the reputation of some of our products with this mishap. We're obviously more than happy to fix yours, but since you've lost all this weight I'll also extend a 30% discount to you on your next pair of shorts should you be willing to trust us again (drop me a pm). We've also recently upgraded to genuine silicone as well for all the gripper bands, so all future production shorts will have these hardier grippers... My apologies again Andrew
  15. Layercake, single run jerseys are pretty much unaffordable as all the setup cost (design/layout/colour matching etc) and admin on creating just one jersey is the same as a run of 100 jerseys. I'd hazard a guess around R2500 for just one jersey, but the moment you get the numbers up a bit, let's say 10 jerseys, you'll probably already be around R450 a top. If you want some more finite pricing drop me a pm and I will put you in touch with the correct rep for your region.
  16. Accelerate, thanks for the message... really sorry the new Ergonomic padding hasn't quite worked out for you. It's the first complaint I have heard I must say, but I do luckily have an easy enough fix for you and your friends (there have to be some perks to being a local factory). We can either replace the paddings with the old pink ones for a nominal fee, or if you want to order new shorts we can make you up some stock ones with the old padding in? It's your call. Just drop Pieter at our Joburg Factory shop an email (shop@anatomic.co.za) with sizes/cuts etc and he will sort you out. Usually takes around two weeks for a custom stock order. On paper the new padding should really be the same, it should just be better if anything as the moulding allows for smoother edges and greater longevity, but we don't live on paper I guess... I will investigate further. Thanks for the feedback and support
  17. All the products have sizing charts, usually just requires a chest measurement or the like. We're a South African company, so we really try keep our sizing in line with standard South African sizes, so if you were a large t-shirt, you'll wear our large cycling jersey. We can also make exchanges on items that don't fit. Hope that helps
  18. MphatiPyga we make a trail jersey which comes in Long Sleeve and a 3/4 length sleeve. It's a V-neck, tailored, but casual fitting top with hidden inset zip pockets at the back. We're busy producing a stock version so I don't have much in the way of pics at the moment, but we did make them for the National BMX team and they loved them.
  19. Let's help baby Karmi out with a little auction of a full custom design cycling kit (jersey/bibs/cap & shell) https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/169811-auction-full-set-of-anatomic-custom-gear-lets-help-a-preemie/
  20. Sjoe... yip, we definitely don't make white bibs anymore, can only imagine it's some very old stock that didn't clear (for obvious reasons) and got thrown in as a sweetener. Glad they're comfy at least and thanks for wearing baggies over them
  21. Yip, Silhouette Sportswear Manufacturers Pty Ltd for the whole official mouthful. Family business, the Koekemoers are part of the 'old furniture' in the South African cycling fraternity.
