  1. Hahahaha..........I'll take a picture and post it later. Maybe the bottle was too heavy?
  2. Can only get it in/out by pulling in straight up and inserting it straight down - the 1st one broke without removing or replacing the bottle, I only noticed it after wondering why the bottle was gone (and I was so thirsty!)
  3. Been using the spez bottle recommended with the cage, yes it is a tight fit. Waiting for answer, I took it back to the shop for a refund. They have already replaced and it lasted half a race.
  4. Its the Specialized Rib Cage (not carbon) and it breaks at the bottom of the 'V' when viewing it side-on.
  5. Looks similar to bontrager, not sure it will do the job
  6. The spez cage has a lip and the bottle is embossed but the cage keeps snapping. Thx karma & TNOSE, I'll give it a try.
  7. Tried topeak, bontrager and specialized. Topeak & Bontrager bottles gone, Spez cages keeps snapping despite it apparently being indestructible.
  8. www.usn.co.za and follow the link
  9. I agree - bike came with Racing Ralphs and I did the tubeless conversion. Tyres wore down very quickly but I changed not because of the wear but because of the sidewall cuts. I have Geax rear and snakeskin front and it is very clear that the Racing Ralph wears much quicker! Satisfied with the performance but will probably replace with another brand when due.
  10. Would be helpful but I've never seen a profile prior to a USN race
  11. Anyone ready to try Arch to Arch? http://www.enduroman.com/a2a/
  12. Even if you're riding tubeless carry a tube, it's not if you'll get a cut but rather when. I also like the flexhose adaptor for the bombs.
  13. Are you clicking the link? If so rather copy and paste url into browser.
  14. Saw the Forerunner 910 on bidorbuy.co.za for R 3998.
  15. I was with KnobbyMech on this until Saturday, survived 2 small cuts previously but my luck finally ran out. Running the Racing Ralph EVO feels fantastic but carry a tube. It's not if, but rather when, you're going to need it.
  16. Race done - verdict below. Venue & terrain fantastic but lacked atmosphere due to limited number of participants. 75km route needed more single track. Felt like more than half the race was on farm dirt roads. Very tough but enjoyable climb around 25km mark and short but steep near the end. Shorter distances complained of tough, rocky technical finish. Do it again? Yes but not when Magalies Monster is on.
  17. Its not Cyclelab but FPC FPC Paulshoff - Johannesburg 30 May 2012 10am – 4pm Epic Bike Shop - Centurion 31 May 2012 10am – 4pm FPC (Full Performance Cycles) Gift Acres - Pretoria 01 June 2012 10am – 4pm
