  1. I have the latest version (some very nice updates) of the P2M, fantastic unit: https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/120000-power2max-new-model-updated-features/page__st__16
  2. They here and they awesome: https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/120000-power2max-new-model-updated-features/page__st__16
  3. The updates are for the power meter that bolts to the crank.
  4. I am running the Rotor 3D plus on my road bike and loving it, its weighs only 147g more than my SRAM RED crank. the new left/right leg power balance feature is awesome too and it is working like a charm with my Edge500. It is a really nice unit The local P2M disti is great and provides very good customer service, for Campy 11 speed there are a few 110bcd and 130bcd options to go with other than the original Campy rings with their stupid offset bolt which i am waiting for and will be used on my campy based bike.
  5. I am there
  6. Looking good Meezo! i love the geometry of the inbred I am sure you will enjoy it!
  7. These are the ones i use: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=19227 To be honest if you can drill out or ream some washers you will be fine, the standard bolts are just, just too long so a 2mm thick washer will work 100%
  8. Front: Schwalbe - Nobby Nick (grips like a mother in all the terrain that i have been riding) Rear: Schwalbe - RR good grip and very predictable
  9. How did it go dude, it was quite chilly this weekend and very windy. But riding was still good as always Are you a SS convert?
  10. True, carbon is a different story though, the ride quality is dependent on the layup. Irrespective of design, Ti an steel have better vibration damping properties than Alu and the seat and chain stays will almost always be more compliant which has a direct impact on the "harsh" feel. Regardless, an HT will never be as comfy as DS its all about what type of rider you are, your personal preferences and budget. If i were in your shoes i would determine my budget and ride as many bikes as you can in that price range both DS and HT, preferably on a trail. I am sure the forum members would not mind swapping bikes for a few minutes
  11. Just keep in mind that Steel and Titanium HT frames have completely different ride qualities than Carbon and Alu and are much more compliant. My Steel frame is extremely comfortable, dont think i would go back to DS in a hurry (sold 29er DS after riding my SS Steel bike for two weeks), if i do change i would get Ti just because i have never owned a Ti bike
  12. hehe at this stage i dont think so i would like to go carbon and the strongest carbon fork i could find was max 97kg rider weight, i am 107kg with kit, need to shed some blubber first should be good by Jan i think

  15. In my opinion quite good and worth every cent, it depends on where you are and if he needs to come to you or if you go to him, i would suggest sending him a PM, he might only reply a bit later today as he is in fountains PTA this morning to lay out the XCT route for the weekend.
  16. I agree totally! BodyBikeFit does a full Specialized BG pop him a PM My Rave about his services: https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/117113-huge-rave-specialized-bg-fit-by-forum-user-bodybikefit/unread/
  17. Hi Guys, I decided to do a proper fitting on my new SS and got in contact with BodyBikeFit after a post i made regarding cleat wedges, he is specialized authorized BG fit techie quite passionate about what he does and really knows the topic well. He fixed quite a few things in my setup and i can honestly say that i have not felt more comfortable on a bicycle than now. Amongst the biggest things he sorted out; my seat width and position, my foot position and valgus and it has really made an incredible difference. He travels in the JHB/PTA area to your home and has no issues with coming by after hours. I can highly recommend his services and it is definitely money well spent!

  19. Generally I get a 16g bomb for my 29er (used before i went tubeless), get it to decent pressure with a good dual action pump and then i use the bomb to get it up to the right pressure.
