Must be some cool singletrack... good thing there's a chicken run for us mere mortals

Where do you find technical riding in Grabouw? Am i missing singletrack or do you refer to the steep, loose climbs? Grabouw is great for training, but show me the singletrack please

Took the photo with a good zoom:-) Must admit its only the 2nd time in 14yrs mtbing that I came across a snake - and this one was small enough to jump over no problem

Saw this one at Grabouw 2 Sat's ago - lekka moeilik... Bet the family entrants for the next day's Jolly Jester would have reconsidered if they knew. Was only 45cm long - anybody know what it is?

Ben, all the best - you have the God-given ability to overcome anything! We pray for you and believe that your life can actually be even better after this accident. Guys, it's amazing to see your responses - it's uplifting amid all the negative around us. We can all have a positive impact on someone's life every day, just look around. Maybe donate your old bike to the poor oke who can hardly afford transport to work and food for his family... But still, to everybody who cares enough to help Ben in his time of need.

Dunno about safety - there'll always be another rider of sweeper coming along. But I think the camaraderie of a 2 man team is awesome - gives you someone to share the pain, adrenaline and beauty with. Who else you gonna say to afterwards: "Remember that strectch where..."? Maybe stagger the start times?
