  1. have to agree , often the mark of a champion is not how you win , but how you lose....
  2. give me a call 083 250 7197 , my club ride from lal lucia mall 3 times a week....
  3. this is brilliant , I did read about it in the local newspaper on saterday ....but....we currently have a bike lane around the Durban country club circuit , during the hours of 5;00am to 6;30 am and again in the afternoon from 16;00 to 18;00 the cycle lane is for cycle use only , no cars, buses , trucks taxi's etc allowed....wondefull ...if it was policed , I travel the road regularly at that time , and the rules are completely ignored , with no police action taking place against the offenders.....so ...this idea will be wonderfull....if it is policed effectively !!!
  4. team sky are on the new dogma...
  5. very little scientific proof that they help , especially in training , and jury def out still on whether they help recovery, but if you feel better after wearing them , then go for it , the mind is always in control , and if it tells you so ...go for it.....just not in races please ....no proof on that , just plain silly looking...the pro triathletes might be wearing them , but they are pro's ...and money talks....
  6. hi , my wife donated her kidney to her mom , it has all gone well, and has been a great sucess , however , you must by now be on anti rejection medication , and an unfortunate side effect of this is bone density problems , my mother in law has serious issues with this , and has very brittle bones now....obviously this is a way down the line for you ,please speak to your specialist , as a mtb biker falls are a fact of life , if this is going to be a long term side effect , you need to be made aware of this, as crashes will have cosequences....just trying to help...congrats by the way...mt mother in law is now 15 years down the line , and all good...
  7. definitely a bike more for sprints or break aways , more an " aero" bike...sl3 is a climbing machine ...
  8. I agree completely , R695 ,00 is the early bird entry ,if you don't commit before 10 th June ( around the corner ) , the entry goes up to the " standard " price which is R 800,00 ...crazy price..I was considering coming up from Durban , but with the flight ,accomodation and now this ridiculous entry fee...no way !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. the website is so vague , no info really ...seems more like a fishing expidition than a done thing....wish they would get it a bit more organised....
