Yep breakaway day tomorrow, 249kms, Long day in the saddle, Nic did say at the beginning of the week that Fri was the 1st real opportunity for a breakaway so they've planned ot pretty well. I'm sure there are numerous riders who have been waiting for tomorrow to come!!

Yep with slops and flat pedals without socks and the slops still being loose, He did 303kms with a 29.3km/h average speed.

Yeah he said in 1 of his stories aswell he was waiting for the breakaway days, Excited to see what lies ahead.

Been following the story daily, So he had knee pain which is why he changed to slops and he said it helped 100%, So last night when he set off, He made a few extra holes in the slops to get them "race fit" and also because it had been raining so it was difficult to get "grip in" his words LOL and he set off.

A mate read an article (trying to find the link) where MvDP wanted a specific wheelset for today and the guy who delivered it had to drive over 900kms to deliver them!!
