  1. these also look very similar to the 100% glasses, So if someone bought these oft Takealot, should they then not be allowed to sell them here if they no longer want them? https://www.takealot.com/rock-polarized-multi-lens-cycling-glasses-10131/PLID66342658
  2. If you're talking about the "Sutro" ad then I didn't actually see that they had the "O" logo on the arms, which I believe is then allowed. Takealot sell them aswell and they're not passed off as "Oakleys". There are now so many brands who have followed the Sutro and Jawbreaker shape. The ad just looked like plain Sutro looking glasses, but again, I never saw any logos so they should be fine. https://www.takealot.com/sophie-moda-cycling-goggles-mirror-coating-sport-bicycle-sunglas/PLID65543121
  3. Yes agreed, I never made that part clear LOL.
  4. a mask seems to be the only guarantee, well for some anyway
  5. Let's add that the TT bike is borrowed, the wheels were borrowed and it's her 1st ever ITT event. Proper baptism of fire I'd say.
  6. How big are they usually? I'm usually alone by the Holiday Inn already so never really take note LOL
  7. Exactly what I'd hoped for...
  8. Agreed 100% But unfortunately it doesn't seem like CSA are really interested in developing athletes, All whom go over do so on their own accord, Like Tyler Lange recently. has a few top 10s in a few of the races he's taken part in in Belgium.
  9. Well she is the current SA Ladies Road champ so she has earned her spot.
  10. I'd say that's still a massive achievement considering the other ladies are all full time paid professionals who have all the science at their disposal, best kit, training camps, international racing under their belts, are sponsored fully and have full team support etc whilst Hayley is still a UCT student, Not sure if she gets paid to ride her bike, Hasn't been racing much because Covid hasn't really allowed it and lives in CT which is pretty much a pan cake compared to some of those European Countries.
  11. Ok, Just entered online(Still open if you go via the international entries link which will save R150 substitution fee). So, what's the wind like on the day?? LOL
  12. ahhhh yeah I got that now after actually reading the post properly LOL
  13. I have a Cannondale C2 stem which I'm pretty sure is a 31.8mm, However it is a 110mm stem. This pic is downloaded from the interwebs but it looks like this.
  14. Is it a team requirement to put your helmut straps OVER your shades?? #AskingForaBikehub
  15. A good while because he works for Metro so they were some of the 1st to receive their shots.
  16. I know a guy(My Uncle) who has been double vaxxed( a while ago already as he works for Metro) and is currently fighting for his life in ICU
  17. But reality is that not everyone is going to be vaccinated. So I rather look at reality than "what ifs", I mean the CTCT is 3 weeks away only.
  18. Exactly what i was about to ask. Just because you're vaccinated doesn't mean you can't contract or spread the disease, the same as if you haven't been vaccinated. So essentially everyone should be tested then.
  19. Also an ex Di Data rider ????
  20. the hallmark of any real cyclist.. LOL
  21. I always thought many did it just to have the sticker on your top tube for the next 6 months.
  22. Similar to the "Argust" is to ride cycling, the difference is everyone who even knows nothing about cycling knows about the 'Argust". (Probably just because they see it as an inconvenience with road closures once a year)
  23. substitutions usually open the week or so only before the seedings go out, Because I was playing football and never really knew where we would be,(in which province), so I hardly really entered before hand therefore I've done 3 or 4 out of my 9 via substitute entries and I'm hoping to do so again this year, will try and get an entry closer to the event and substitution cut off date..
  24. Doesn't everything? LOL for 74k for their SR EPS 12spd disc groupset, You can literally buy a very very decent complete bike, and here on Le Hub some with Dura Ace or Ultegra Di2 disc aswell..
  25. Rotor already have a 13 speed groupset, albeit a 1x, But if you get the gearing right, is a 2x necessary..
