  1. You sure they aren't just pointing out the bits that fell off before the robot?
  2. Still can't post pictures for some reason Here is where my money would go, in that segment: https://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/range/street/cmx1100-rebel/overview.html
  3. Jip, Yamaha R6 will be track only. Demand doesn't meet the cost of getting them Euro 5 compliant. But if they improved the dated 600cc bikes maybe demand would pick up. Chicken/egg situation...... I would do a test ride if possible. Sounds like a good deal but I would try and ride different types of bikes, figure out what you will do on the bike most. Nothing worse than buying a bike only to realize you should have bought something else soon after. Buy universal gear if possible, that can be reused on a different type of bike later. Tassels on anything other than a HD looks weird........
  4. They got more headaches than that Mazepin money is perhaps worth though.......
  5. The only thing I will add, in the HD's defense, is that the weight is on a bike with a low seat height. So it should not be compared to something similar in weight, but with that weight up high, like say the aforementioned 800GS. That being said, a 10yr old, relatively low mileage 800GS would be close to that R75k and I would rather take the newer bike. The other thing I can say is bigger is not always better, yes I loved my TL1000R but given the choice I would go for something smaller, like a 650cc. The power is addictive and you may get bored but you are more likely to extract the performance out of a 600cc, than a 1000cc. So why pay so much more for a bike that you can only utilize 50% of it's potential?
  6. Not a fan of the looks but their adventure bike is very much needed. Harley is dying a very slow and painful death at the moment it seems.
  7. Imagine Seb in this years Merc, next year. Will never happen but a guy can dream......
  8. Jip, fuel in the frame and oil in the swingarm. Was very innovative, good use of real estate too as the "tank" was the airbox. The Harley motors use an external oil reservoir.
  9. It was on Charles's helmet I believe, he wore it in tribute.
  10. Won't post my pic Seb gave his helmet to Charles as a gift with the following written on it: "You are the most talented driver I came across in 15 years of F1. Don't waste it. But be sure whatever you do to be happy and smile. Thanks for everything"
  11. Very subtle, very un-German like......
  12. Given Harley's track record with displacement vs horsepower, it would probably only have about 1.5hp more. I would be more worried about the chassis. Same dimensions as a RS125, it will be a lively ride. Always like them, always wanted one...... And you can pick them up fairly cheaply these days too.
  13. Or skimping, Please Mr Toto......
  14. I know it won't be VB, but I also don't think Lewis has decided on whether he is driving or not. My bet is he will be back, Cant have GR winning a race, and "fluffing" another pitstop will look a bit dodgy......
  15. Must say I am quite enjoying this little Mercedes debacle. Trying to confirm Lewis's achievements are not as a result of an obviously dominant car. Where will Russell slot in with calls for him to replace Bottas immediately as opposed to waiting for 2022. Is Bottas's car compromised/detuned, or how do you explain his performances. Very up and down..... Interesting times
  16. So what is everyone's thoughts on this young driver test debacle. From what I understand FIA has allowed Alonso (no youngster) to test saying he is a new rider in a team. BUT now they have dismissed Vettel and Sainz's request even though they would meet that criteria. Very strange.......
  17. I do yes. They were also involved in this project:
  18. On number 2, I concur with the Youtube comments. That deserved to be the Bond theme song....... Funny how the FFDP song is so appropriate yet made before the pandemic.
  19. That last line in the FFDP song seems very appropriate these days.......
  20. Skeptical of the side stand choice, but otherwise it looks mint!!
  21. Experilab also sell at reasonable (I thought) prices.
  22. Bottas is not employed to win though. I would love to see Hulk get another shot, imagine if he wins.......
  23. Personally wish they could put Max or Seb in the car....
  24. I saw one advertised in Randburg with just on 100K km, the ad said if it well maintained then the mileage should not scare anyone. I think Andymann can testify to how quickly a hamfisted "mechanic" can ruin a decent motorcycle......
