  1. Has anyone purchased from FC Moto before? Need new toe sliders for my boots (new track bike and still adjusting foot position) and the local distributor saying a 4 month wait for stock
  2. Cool, DM sent
  3. Great, thanks for the advice Steven. What is the name of the market in Pretoria you referring to so I can check it out? Attached are some images of what I have if anyone is interested?
  4. Random one guys, my old man past away a few years ago and in the process of packing up his workshop. He used to make wooden toys, and there still a good few bags of part he imported from the states (pegs, wheels, people etc) that I am looking to sell. Any recommendations on where to even start?
  5. Thanks guys, will check out all of the suggestion First prize would be another bell but they seem pretty hard to find, apart from the top of range models in random colours
  6. Hi guys, I am in the market for a new road helmet but really struggling to find what I am after. I have always used higher end Bell helmets, but all I can seem to find in all brands are really entry level helmets or R5k plus ones that are beyond what I am after. Any suggestions on where in Gauteng to buy and what the best bet is in the R2-3k bracket?
  7. Hi guys, I have come across this Hegner Multicut 2s scroll saw and have been asked to make an offer on it. Any idea what a fair price would be, it is in as new condition.
  8. How are enjoying the KTM? I am windowing shopping for a second bike for day to day use and some multi-day tours. I am very interested in the 1190 but have heard some horror stories of crazy maintenance cost and destroyed motors. Keen to hear feedback from a current owner
  9. I am also not a fan of wraps. Will go the ceramic coating route, the more I look into it the more it looks like a good idea.
  10. Does anyone have experience with ceramic coating exhaust parts? The headers on my R6 are looking a little bit tatty so want to tidy them up. Ceramic coating supposedly has some minor performance benefit and isn't badly priced.
  11. Have a read through this: https://www.google.co.za/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwiLtJbauInPAhUCLMAKHQmTCdAQFggaMAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Ftriathlete-europe.competitor.com%2F2016%2F07%2F20%2Fcrank-it-up-inject-some-intensity-to-avoid-the-one-speed-blues&usg=AFQjCNHRVNGPfym5VCy5HbgYyLpSP9YTsg&bvm=bv.132479545,d.d24 Often the training at constant intensity limits your body's ability to up the intensity when needed, like in a race situation.
  12. Thanks Andymann, Will follow up with the local dealership and see if they have of the GYTR slip ons left. I use the bike mainly on the track so not too worried about loss of bottom end. Interested about the lambda sensor being lost in the silencer box, what do guys running full systems do to correct the fueling? Heard the the ECU over writes Power Commander type units so that isn't an option, or was that bad advice?
  13. Does anyone have experience with Racetec exhaust? Seem to be locally made. Looking for a bit more power and sound out of 2007 Yamaha R6, so after at least an end and mid pipe and can't believe the price of the big name exhaust

  15. Pity, was a great shop! The reason I used to go there was because it had the small lbs feeling. Got to know the guys and they were always willing to help out. I think that will be lost when it becomes another mega store
