  1. And if you are not momentum, you probably have a friend who might be a runner, etc, who doesn't need their vouchers so you just buy theirs.
  2. CycleLab... If you're on Momentum highest level you can buy r20 000 worth of vouchers each year and get 20 percent discount. And then as the store says they won't be beaten on price so get them down to cheapest and then when you are paying hand over your vouchers. Boom. I paid 51000 for a brand new 2017 Scott in January that had a 70 000 price tag.
  3. 18 and 22 degrees respectively, with 1.9mm of rain, according to YR.no? I think you will be fine, buttercup.
  4. anyone know if there is a forum to swap Epic gear?Husband's Columbia jacket is a M and he needs a S
  5. Husband did the Epic this year and when i showed him the video he said there were bars outside the dining tents where you could buy softdrinks, beer and wine. So not sure if grant missed those. Agree though that at the price you pay, unlimited bottle water - at teh very least - should be available.
  6. Why is there so little climbing? 1200m? Not usual in an Ashbuton marathon. We are unfortunately skipping this one as we have a wedding to attend.
  7. so has Platt broken something? Saw an Insta post of him waiting for Xrays?
  8. Absolutely pouring down in mankele. We are probably heading back to JHB
  9. Good route, saw one crash in DL, road surface was great. Feeling quite tired not sure how the legs will hold up at tour of good hope and Argus. Anyone know where results can be found?

  13. My GPS took me back along the route after the race on the way back to JHB, which I liked because its always nice to see slower cyclists coming in and suffering (evil laugh). But a large group was coming through and the bike marshall actually moved right over onto my lane and forced me onto the grass. Which I was ok with at first until I realised, actually the group shouldnt be riding over the white line anyway (one of my pet hates at events and DL group was really good at this race about not doing it). Plus I drive a small car, so it was really bullying behaviour to do that. Interesting to see the cycling event from a motorist's perspective.
