  1. A friend has lent me his ergomo pro power meter on the basis I get it repaired. The screen is blank and not charging and I'm sure many other issues that I need technical assistance on. Does anyone know who the expert in Gauteng is so I can get this thing up and running. Thanks Nick
  2. I've been looking at the exact same spec, ie full sus @ R30k I was tending towards the Scott Spark. Admittedly Morewood wasn't on the radar, however lost enthusiasm on the Merida (travel etc). Spez overpriced as mentioned previously, however cyclotech hubber dude in bloem appears to have some bargains
  3. Thanks for input guys. I'll most probably change. Lost the faith with those rims. Will throw some more air in however going fwd.
  4. Hi, I'm having a few hassles with my ZTR rims on my Mongoose H/T. I'm running my tyres (Maxxis Crossmark) at just under 2bar, but weighing in at 77kgs, so bottom out every now and then and am finding the ZTR rims just not robust enough. Any suggestions what rims to replace with and who the guys in Jhb to do the job are? Thanks Nick Current wheel setup: Rims: Stan's ZTR Olympic Disc 32 hole Front Hub: Ringle Dirty Flea disc Rear Hub: Ringle Dirty Flea disc cassette Spokes: Wheelsmith double butted w/ alloy nipples
  5. really enjoyed it this year. did it 2yrs ago and almost died. paced myself a lot better and studied the profile beforehand so there was very little that wasn't expected...
  6. I doubt these guys will be found guilty. Way too many technicalities. I hope the competition commission has their ducks in a row as these businesses are going to take a hammering through reputational issues. Remember, innocent until proven guilty. (I'm not a fan of the parties involved btw.)
