  1. I know, I know. I'm late to the party. My excuse was pregnant/baby. I'm looking for a unicorn - a trainer which wont make noise (at least not enough noise to wake up a toddler). That is stable (mom can't be in a cast). And offers resistance (I don't see myself on a road/mountain any time soon). AND - the kicker - not going to break the bank. If you can pick up a second hand one without the risk of a dodgy purchase - all the better. Thanks sportsfans!
  2. Looking for a lift back to Uniondale after the race from Knysna. A riding buddy dropped out leaving our logistics in pieces. Its just two of us. any leads - we'd really appreciate it. Alexis
  3. Hey! You're welcome to come test our group out. We are part if the table mountain bikers, and we do a coffee ride on Tuesday mornings. Start 6:30 corner of Iris and Kloof street in Tamboerskloof. We're not slow, but we're not racing snakes either. Anyone else also welcome to join ???? Alexis
  4. One entry for Karoo to Coast 2014 available as substitution. I also have booked/paid for a seat on a shuttle leaving Knysna at 4am for Uniondale on the day of the race. This was a cancellation...so they are full otherwise. Inbox me: lexischoltz@gmail.com
  5. Try BEN _ the bicycle empowerment network. They are an NGO who collect, build and give bikes to under-privileged peeps. They also promote cycling as a sport to less fortunate. Great organisation

  8. Recently back in CT, and looking for group of people or person to train with. At the mo, riding 6/8 hrs, but looking to up my game. Also to ride more mtb. I'm chilled, but don't want to amble along the trails. I'm based the cbd at the mo. Let me know, it's trial and error???? Alexis
