Lovely autumn cycle in Dublin yesterday. Sun was shining but wind was freezing, but totally worth it.

@JacquesLomb I have owned a Cannondale scalpel (2017), Scott Spark (2020) and now the Orbea TR 10 (2022) with 120mm. 1. absolutely love the bike. still dialing in the tyres as i have moved to Dublin and need to get to know the ground conditions but so far so good. trials are quite different to what i am used to in Durbanville. But cannot fault the XT 12 speed drive train nor the dropper post or suspension or carbon wheels. 2. honestly think there are to many cables but nothing 1 can do about that unless you run AXS and remove the lockouts but it all works though functionally. 3. not sure on after service support as i imported directly from Spain but there are numerous Orbea dealers in Dublin so can only imagine it will go well. Any other questions, give a shout

What i have learnt from commuting for the last 2 months in Ireland is actually how crazy commuting was in Cape Town. You never realise just how close the cars actually came, how aggressive and taxing commuting could be until you don't have cars push past you, cars wait for you up a hill until safe to pass, etc. Really is an eye opener. And apparently Ireland is not even one of the best places to cycle yet I feel like i am in cycling heaven as every ride doesn't feel like it could be my last.

Got myself a new steed. No couch picture as we are renting (and furniture was included). 😁 Absolutely love the bike. Only hit the trails twice so far but loving it.

Good afternoon hubland, I am in the market for a new full suspension mtb, which needs to have 120mm suspension and XT level components. I have narrowed it down to these 3 models, but cannot decide: OIZ M PRO TR — Orbea I like the personalise feature and this bike ticks all my boxes. Lux Trail CF 7 | CANYON IE Love the Canyon but see there is quite the shortage and not sure how i feel about the colour. NINETY-SIX 7000 - MERIDA BIKES (merida-bikes.com) This bike also looks amazing but the neon green is not to my liking. now if it came in the this colour, NINETY-SIX - MERIDA BIKES (merida-bikes.com). What would you choose and why? To help, I previously had a Scott Spark and loved it but sold it prior to moving to Ireland. I have climbing and bombing downhill but not the downhill tracks. Comfortable with jumps to a degree and love singletrack. I know it seems like I know which model to pick but I really don't. Thanks in advance. Ciao S
