  1. Had the same issue on my 2020 Spez Epic but with Rockshox rear Brain. The Brain fade failed after 45 hours of riding taking into account lockdown since March 2020. The shock wouldn't "lockout" in its firm setting. Luckily bike comes with 2 free shock services within a 2 year period or serviced every 6 months of extensive use or 200 hours of use. Recieved shock back last week and all is well but riding on eggs with each bump that I experience. If you have a look on the web you will find a number of Spez owners having the same issues. I'm personally quite speculative on the reliability of this proprietary part and the fact that it could fail without warning.
  2. Thanks guys, will definitely replace with brass nipples. Kind regards
  3. Hi there, Just wanted to know if anyone has experienced this with their spoke nipples (as per attached pics) oxidation? cure? and prevent Kind regards

  6. Got this off the web and photo of what it should look like. A simple precision-made kit that provides valuable insurance against front derailleur malfunctions.
  7. Hi There Looks like its is a chain catcher that has bent.
  8. Thanks armpies, havent thought of that and looks as if the gap is at TDC, so should make it easier. Only used the term TDC when setting my ignition timing on my car...lol
  9. Thanks droo I am trying to get the most neutral position for these h/bars in order to benefit from the 5 degree sweep. I am of the opinion that the '0' mark should be lined up with the joint gap on the stem.
  10. Do the markings with the numbers on this handlebar actually mean anything? I have a flat handle bar with 5 degree sweep as shown. Which point should the numbers on the bars be in relation to which part of the stem? Middle of the stem clamp face or joint?handle bar.bmp
  11. Hi I went from a 26 F/S to a 29er H/T only because I wanted to increase my mileage and fitmess levels. It made me faster on the hills and definately made me aware on the bike for things I would normally take for granted on trail riding a F/S. I have since moved from a 29er Alu to Carbon. It all depends what your goals are and if you intending doing stage races. Comfort would be a sacrifice in this regard.
  12. Thats perfect customer service, excellent. authorisation within 30 minutes is unheard of theses days. I had to wait 20 days for a payout from an unWyze Insurance Co.
