  1. Hi all, thanks for having me in this forum. l have an urgent need to find a hanger for a Corratec Race Superbow 29er frame, any help would be appreciated please? thnx
  2. I really advocate both...without hangups!! As a rule however, I ride XC bike with clipless setup (not a broad DH styled pedal either). Then I also ride Pumptrack on either MTB or a 24" cruiser BMX and this I religiously do on flatties....ain't no better way to learn to remain one with the flow of your bike than being non-cleated. However when on the XC or Enduro bike the ability to bunny-hop, jump and corner correctly becomes super-heightened as you have the confidence of both. When learning clipless....ride on a flat grassy field and learn that falling over at low speeds will not kill you.
  3. I had a very similar bad experience a while back. Unchained in the car though [yah, my bad!!] An early-am job within our complex. In retrospect I now chain the bike/s inside the car and garage [paranoid-like] thinking this would more than deter these foul bloody criminals. Obviously nothing is sacred, no matter how cautious one is. What would actually help is micro-chipping the bikes as is done in the UK & US. Not a real biggie here for whatever reason. I really hope the footage can be used to a greater extent, and for recovery means. Strongs, sorry for your loss.
  4. Stolen: Free Agent Team Limo 24" Cruiser 2016 When: 17 June 2017 Where: Pretoria, Gauteng Bike was in my car; covered; and well protected. Car was broken into in the early hours of the morning. Please see photos. Get further details about the incident in the Stolen Bikes section

  6. Wow.....darn (blush). Thanks SS peeps.....l am glad for the likes and advice. Pimps and Perks....quite heartwarming. Now to ride this sweet ol' red tincan like l stole her yesteryear. The "swivel chainguide option": quite an ingenious backyard mechy mind u have there....lm getting tools in hand and will give u a follow up on that rear device-removal. Darn...lets shave more weight off this ol' klunker. Thnx all.
  7. Hi all ss family... Well this is my '94 revamped Chromo Kuwahara. So lm really quite a nube at this even tho lm a BMX 24" Cruiser and 20" decendant. This is weirdly new to me. So this being my old jump and dual bike, it has slightly heftier chainguide and then self-pimped rear roller mods on an 18/43....still not spinny enuff but ultra smooth and quiet ride. This is even after researching all rear hanger systems.
