  1. My apologies; I did not know that you transfered my postings across. Could you delete my last posting.
  2. As I've already mentioned on the 'condolences' thread; maybe the National Cycling Federation / Association could lobby Government on behalf of the cycling community. It would also benefit society at large, i.e; Other road users, pedestrians, people who participate in road running etc.
  3. A lot of forum users have expressed their 'anger and dismay' on this discussion thread, and rightfully so. So why can't your local MP lobby against drink driving? Is their a National Cycling Association / Federation which cycling clubs are affiliated to? Maybe they can take the matter up with Government?
  4. Have you considered taking the matter of 'drink driving' up with your local member of parliament.
  5. Very sad; ... R.I.P Condolences to the cyclist's family and friends.

  12. Well, its official; Lewis is off to Mercedes next season and the likelihood is that Perez will replace him at McLaren. http://uk.eurosport....-090556843.html Personally I think this is a 'win win' situation for both parties. This gives McLaren the opportunity to give other drivers the chance to develope their careers with an established team. I think Lewis was in a 'rut' and the move will do him good. Maybe the first year spent developing a generally 'middle of the pack' car, and when the engine rules change for 2014 - 1600 Turbo's - into a championship winning car, will mature Lewis Hamilton as a driver and as a person. I really hope it works out for him. UPDATE: Perez has signed a multi-year contract with McLaren http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/hamilton-join-mercedes-reports-063424898.html
