Where to now for Massa since he's being replaced with Kimi ? Not many options available. Red Bull, McLaren and Mercedes are sorted for the next season or two. Lotus will most probably look for a 'strong driver' to replace Kimi, and Sauber are busy preparing that Russian youngster. Toro Rosso are a feeder team for Red Bull. Caterham and Marussia, at present, fill up the back rows of the grid. My guess is that he will either be at Force India or Williams next season. What do you think ?

I agree with your posting Jigghead. One should wait on the authorities to conclude their investigation and issue a report / statement. Untill the facts have been established, trial by media is not a good thing.

Whether one is a driver or cyclist or both, it is easier to change our own behaviour than to try and change someone elses. The change must start with ourselves and hopefully this attitude will influence others.

One possible sollution is for the law enforcement agencies to do exactly what they are paid to do; uphold and enforce the law. That means to get out and patrol the roads.

I've been living abroad for a while so I'm not familiar with the way things are in general; however, wouldn't more visible policing i.e. the police / traffic officers patrolling the roads and issuing fines to vehicle drivers and cyclists for bad road usage behaviour be a deterent ?

First of all; RIP Burry Stander and sincere condolences to his wife, family and friends. This incident is very tragic and the untimely death of Burry is a great loss to SA Cyling and the World of Cycling in general. Obviously the cycling fraternity are genuinely upset about it. Some news reports have stated that the driver of the vehicle who collided with Burry did stop and remained at the scene of the accident for the Police to arrive. My view is that not all cyclists are reckless and neither are all drivers. Sometimes 'accidents' do happen. Having said that I think people should wait on the authorities to conclude their investigation and a report of their findings be released.
