I agree! If you are out there on a quad or a bike as crew or any other reason, you should be wearing a helmet. This has annoyed me in all the Trailseeker races in the past as well.

I always ride with a few of the thicker strings in my box as well. These come in handy with smaller cuts and bigger thorns.

What light is that? I'm in the market for one at the moment. Transbaviaans in 7 weeks and judging by my training so far, i'm going to spend the whole night on the bike.

I always find that the excitement of the race and all the other competitors riding with you helps to push that extra little bit out of you that you didn't know you have. Enter for the 45km and take it easy.

Thanks to the organizers for a GREAT race. Gary and his team are legends. Had a wet and muddy first day and a dry and fast second. Today was some of the best manicured singletrack I have ever ridden! See you next year!
