  1. NO If it doesn't work there's still a part on its way from to thomson, so there's no harm in trying
  2. I'll give that a shot this weekend, I was worried about drilling the thread out but this might just work
  3. Regular grub screw, but I can't remove from the cam. i don't know if you get easy-outs in that size.
  4. It's in the post free of charge from thomson
  5. No QR. I just have to apply pressure to the actuating-cam manually.
  6. Tell me again about that beautiful new bike you don't have
  7. Bugger off philistine! She's a thing of beauty that just happens to have a hex screw stripped in the most inconvenient place. I should have realised Thomson would have used imperial hex bolts....
  8. Im showing serious restraint here
  9. If you tell me NOT to do something....YOH!Heavy days
  10. Awesome, you wont regret it and those trails need more people raving about them We took turns shuttling rather than wasting daylight climbing, so if you're a group of 4 you end up getting 3 runs down and then just shuttle once!
  11. If you liked the Supa Tube you will also like Gauntlet in the outback trails-same awesome G-outs. The Falls loop is also great-far more technical and fun than I thought it would be
  12. Ja, the outback trails are easily the best trails i've ever ridden-FAST and FLOWING. If you havent ridden Jewits Jive, Gauntlet, Father and sons and Bollywood you're missing out on the best fun you can have on a mtb
  13. It was a new system, new series-there's gonna be a few bugs. But you cant race if you're on the wrong trail....Seriously though, how awesome were the those trails!
  14. We really don't have any terrain that could compare Congrats to Mark Sydney and crew, awesome event, EPIC trails and great atmosphere, I'll definitely be at the next one! Better route taping wouldn't hurt
  15. Dude, dont waste your time with parks/municipality. Seriously. I think before we build any new pump tracks we should get the one at Mikes Bikes up and running, I think aside from learning to ride a pump track it will also give those of us who want to build a better idea of how to build.
  16. Not bad! Awesome optics with a built in hd cam for the price of a go-pro
  17. I think that's the spot BikeBailing was suggesting, how easy would it be to access with the TLB?
  18. Good point WRT the TLB. As for building anywhere near delta or fratellis-I would forget it completely-there are way too many dog-walking-grannies on the war path who will make it their life's mission to get anything fun torn down. I think Hurlingham/ Scout hall would be the safest bet.
  19. I have a half finished pump-track in a mates garden, I know how much work is involved I agree that a TLB would be awesome, just like buying and bringing in dirt would be way easier...but those things cost randelas. I'm more than willing to chip in towards the costs, and if we could get a few people to the same then this project will happen quickly
  20. Weather forecast look *** to say the least
  21. I'll keep you posted, I'm only going to have a chance to scout next weekend-but I think the area near scout hall will probably work.
  22. Child labour....Excellent!
