I bought a 2nd hand PolarV650, battery life is around 10 hours which I think is pretty good. I always use it with heartrate monitor. Only complain is the syncing with polar app, sometimes it needs to be reconnected a few times before syncing. Also a nice feature is the little light on the front that makes you more visible only he road.

My 1st as well, scared as hell, just hope to finish, gonna be a looong day on the bike. #SurviveAttakwas

Just saw Frail in Beaufort Wes we going north and him south, strong headwind, good luck, and safe journey.

Just make sure you recalibrate you speedo for the diff size wheel, + or - 2km/h makes a big difference on 100 + km race.
