  1. Haha, just look at your aggressive language. I rest my case, Chop!
  2. I'm not going anywhere, I've been a cyclist for more than 20years. I just haven't been a hubber. Quite content to accept criticism, but won't stand on ceremony and "rank" to appease those with a seniority complex. Thanks for the encouragement.
  3. There was no "demand" dude, it was merely an observation. Nothing more or less. You made it personal, unnecessarily.
  4. Hands up, I erred. We live and learn.
  5. I hope your day improves. As King Crispy pointed out, I'm just a newbie without the right to voice an opinion. Way to make a guy feel welcome though, thanks.
  6. Yep, recent MTB ads appear cleaner than roadie ads (although on page 6 there's an ad for a Hope Fox 40 Top Crown). As i said to "Deep Fried Crispy", it's just an observation.
  7. In the first two pages of complete road bikes I count 6 ads for non-complete bikes, from tubes to frames and shifters. So much for "drivel".
  8. Yep, it's a reasonable "expectation". The air up there on your Raleigh Chopper is obviously too thin, descend with caution "Meneer".
  9. Thanks Dale! Despite King Crispy's assertion's, I'm not attempting a hostile takeover. I merely expect the sections I subscribe to not to be unnecessarly clogged up by cross-advertising. Nothing more or less.
  10. LOL, only at a stretch of their imagination-eth
  11. It's an observation dear fellow, climb off that high horse slowly.
  12. I've noticed a tendency by advertisers to post ads of individual components, parts and accessories they're flogging in the "complete bikes" sections, both road, and MTB. This is lazy and clogs up that classification unnecessarily. Sellers should post in the most applicable section, rather than the most viewed or risk having their ads removed.
  13. You shoulda taken a photo and posted it here and to their team management. Naming is one thing, shaming with evidence entirely another.
  14. Such bike plates would havta be rather large to be clearly visible and effective. Vehicles number plates have had little effect on motorist's behavior, policing the cycling community will have even less. Charity begins at home, we should rather teach our kids responsible cycling habits. Schools have a role to play as well.
  15. It seems Athletics South Africa have eventually caught on too. The old format of completing paperwork and waiting forever for acknowledgement is sooooooo yesterday!
