  1. Anyone know if there are line entries for MM?
  2. http://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/giro-petra-vr-mtb-shoes Size 45???
  3. Greeting Campagnolians, I have lost the up shift return spring in my rear shifter It is a Record-Ergopower 10-speed shifter. Will i need to import a rebuild kit or is this something that a bike shop could service for me? Any advise would be most appreciated. Regards, //m00se
  4. This is really not on. Browsing to "http://www.spectrumsport.co.za/Portals/17/ResultDoc/"lists an archive of what looks like all the races they have publish results for over the last few years. Most are clean PDFs but there are about 9 excel files containing information that really should not be on the public internet. Poor form SpectrumSport!!
  5. Greeting Hubbers, About a week ago I noticed that my ID, cell, and email address where available through the spectrum sport timing website (www.spectrumsport.co.za) and one other site. This information is searchable using Google. For example if you Google the following "inurl:www.spectrumsport.co.za <your id number or email address>" Google will potentially present links to excel sheets that contain the information that you used to enter these events. The two that showed with my info where: · USN CUP Race # 2 (note sure of date) · Walkerville_MTB_2013-07-14 These are not the only event result sheets with personal information that are searchable. It must be noted that the excel format documents are not availability through the main results page on the site. An email was sent to contacts for both sites. One site immediately responded and removed the document from their site. Spectrum Sport have assured me that they cannot load excel files into their site and that they don't know where it comes from and they will talk to the host. Though my information remains available on their site after more than one attempt to bring it to their attention and have it removed. The crux of the matter is that any company that is used by the organizers of these events and the organizers themselves have an obligation to ensure that the information given to them is handled with care and securely stored. This has not been done in this case. The reason for my post is not to name and shame but rather to alert Hubbers to the fact that your information could be available through these kinds of sites and that this obviously poses a risk to you security from an identity theft point of view. Rant Over
  6. Went out this morning, It really was not all that cold. May have even been a bit over dressed. It is dark most of the way tho
  7. Hi Hubbers, Starting my weekday training rides in preparation for summer racing. Here are the details of my normal morning ride: Days/Times Tuesdays and Thursday starting @ 4:30 - 4:45am. Speed 25 - 27kmph Distance 50KM Elevation gain +- 700m Route http://www.strava.co...vities/81861218 I usually do two loops of the same route to makeup 50km but I'm open to trying new routes. If anyone in or around this area is keen to join PM me to swap details and arrange. Andrew
  8. Thanks for input everyone. Any thoughts on the Trax T2790?
  9. Greeting Hubbers, A friend of mine is looking at spending around R7500 on an indoor trainer. She tested the Kinetic rock and roller and was taken by the idea that the system moves underneath you in an attempt to simulate being on the road. My feeling is that this is a gimmick and the something like the Trax T2790 would be money better spent. Link to Kinetic --- http://www.kurtkinet...p-312-l-en.html Link to Trax --- http://www.cwcycles....bushido-tablets Any advice on these or other suggestions within the budget would be most helpful.
  10. Welcome to the HUB! I have ridden your trials a few times now and must say they really are great. You mention that there is 50KM of trail, are riders able to access all 50KMs?

    MotoGP

Simoncelli won the 250cc world championship in 2008. And this is a way for the sport to honor him as a legend of the sport. (Not an indication of how well he did, but rather how he went about doing it)
  12. Exactly the same thing happened to me a few months back when I took my road bike in for a service at Northcliff cycles & Alex replaced the seat post. Think they should invest in a new bike stand....
