Hi Guys, just for intrest sake, do you know what your frame and fork weighs? I just serviced my Fuji Marseile pro, and weighed the frame with a cannondale ultra slice fork. Weighed in at 4800 grams. I thought it would be a bit lighter, but the stuff never weighs what the manufacturers say it wieghs. Cheers

Hey mux I had a thorn in my left foot once when I was young. When I pulled it out it started pain itching so don't be a sadist and leave it where it is.

If I were you I would buy the best used cycle I could get my hans on. For 5 k you can probably buy a decent frame with 105 gruppo and shimano wheels. There has been a few good buys on the hub last month. Ting is if you buy a new cycle for 5 k you'll spend money to upgrade some components within 5 moths. Enjoy the cycling Cheers

I think the hub had one too many coffees. It keeps double posting. I feel abnormal, I drink more or less 5 cups of coffee a year, even then I don't finish my cup. In winter I will drink maybe 3 cups of tea a week.

Is this in SA? Apparently a stand allone camera can only be used where it is to dangerous for traffic police to man the cammera. So what you do, if you get a fine and you know the location where you got it, you write and state that there were no traffic police present and that you can not pay. I heard this from an attorney, so at this stage it is hearsay.

Hey hubbers, a few weeks back I saw a link on the hub to a site where they experimented with the weight of a bike when climbing. I can't seem to find that post with the link Any help? I remember the slowest time for the cyclist was when they filled the wheel with water. They also taped a 1kg botle of water to the frame of the bike. Can't remember the other ways to put weight on.

I am quite new to the forum and cycling. I, for one appreciate it when guys out there are honest and speak their mind. If a buyer knows his stuff and is willing to pay a price for a certain overpriced item, then all is fair in love and war. Some guys buy from the forum for the reason that buying new gear is just not an option. In these situations I think fellow hubbers have a responsibility to let a seller know he is trying to sell for to much. I have Tranz X Tri/TT bars for sale, and a friend advised me to ask R550 for them. I got like 3 views, so at this stage I don't know if I ask to much or if there just is no market for the items. PS: bars are still new. Joe

Hi there hubbers, I need some help. I registered as JoeyK. I have 2 pc's and registered on one pc, so it remembered my password. The other day I used my other pc, but forgot my password. typed it in 3 times. I checked my mail for the confirmation e-mail, got the password, typed it in, but now I have to type in the code. I do that but then keeps telling me I typed the wrong code. I mailed the administrators, but till date no reply. I requested a new password but never received the mail. Is their an application I need to download on my pc that might solve this problem with the code?/ Cheers Joe
