How much singletrack can we expect on the 40km route ? Technical level ?

By deleting posts on Fb they only make it worse . Freedom of speech and open communication is crucial any organisation , by denying your members this you create only more problems . You are right , the right channels should be followed to find a solution BUT mediums like Facebook should not be patrolled like a communist concentration camp .

The singletrack on the 42 I would'nt describe it as awesome but better than the worst I've experienced . Definately not my type of race to race , I'm happy to serve as support rider .

Some of the places look familiar , is it possible that some of it was part of the 99er MTB race route ?

People who knows me well will know I always ride with a backpack ( I've got two , small & big ) ; to be prepared for almost everything .

I guess the only way to find out how technical it is , is to do it . You have brakes if it becomes necessary .

So far I'm happy with the Kenda Nevegal 2.2 , it's almost worn out so have to replace them at some stage or another .

Can't see there will be a problem but make sure , info@amarider.co.za ; make sure the boy have a cellphone to contact you if he runs into trouble (assuming you'll be riding with the girl). .
