  1. Ordered from them and delivery sucked ... Item in stock and only after countless attempts did it get delivered.. was at the beginning of Dec and before the mad rush ..
  2. Yes. the people that put it together need to rest and go to church
  3. The event was a great success for all involved and a world first of hosting back to back XCO events - KZN and Australia will be trying it this year as well. Let's hope that we get enough South African UCI points for our riders to qualify for the 2020 Olympics as this was the main aim of holding the two events back to back
  4. comes down to costs - this method is used in Australia of back to back and is being trialed here ... savings from hosting two races in separate venues plus a saving for people traveling. This is prescribed by CSA and WPMTBC is asked to host the event.
  5. ZERO politics - i just hate typing and better with my mouth ... Saturday is SA XCO Cup series 1 and WC XCO series 1 within the same race and Sunday SA XCO Cup Series 2 ( only Elite and Junior) and no WC XCO series - what this means in SA is that the Elite and Junior have six SA cup races in 2019 and other categories have four SA cup races - depending on your category you can drop one race for the points log. From FaceBook page and edited: The National Series offers all-important Category 1 UCI points and forms part of the UCI Junior World Series. Local and international competitors alike will be looking to garner points to boost their rankings early in the season. Western Cape riders will enjoy a competitive start to the year with top racers, both local and international. Sunday 3 February: A second day of racing has been lined up for Junior and Elite Riders. This day forms part of the SA Cup Series and is an opportunity for individual riders to up their UCI points. SA riders ( Elite and Jun)to race on Sunday as the points that they earn will contribute to raise the standing of TEAM SA. TEAM SA needs these points in order to be a qualify to send a team to take part in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

  7. if an invite from Sanlam you get the shirt and bib - only the people who paid get the full monty. was really forward to new shades
  8. Would anybody know if there is an issue with steps not pulling through via Garmin sync to Discovery. Used to work 100% and the last week it has just stopped. My runs and rides pull though 100%
  9. Great event and well organised. We took 55 people through from Durbies Primary School and they all had a blast - thank you
  10. And a person was knocked down in Fish Hoek .... Do not know all details, but looked like a young lady
  11. This was not worth the R160 ... The route was unsafe and badly marshalled ... And then to top it some very rude bloke at the end saying we are only allowed one cup of coke... Was money being saved on this ... Sometimes cutting to many corners does not help. Will never ride this again.
  12. great route and really enjoyed the ride ..
