This thread is just more colourful.........most other threads are so bland that even BLAND's fishing gear is dry and hooks are rusty.......even the COFfee BAnd is off the caffeine...... ......and sometimes it is about what is not being said, but shown.......... SPRING IS IN THE AIR...... .......with rain.......and mud!!!

......and if the story of this photo, the effort and technical skill could be shared with others here........if only, what a shame.......knowledge lost.

Nice stuff VivekB. Good application of DoF and "Thirds rule". Focus is crisp. Makes the evening dinner Sony Cell pic look very plain in comparison. Still need to learn a lot more.......and get a Canon.

So awesome to have a big Canon. They almost take pictures by themselves.......point, zoom and shoot. What you see is what you get......easy.

Nice holiday pics.......what principles/thought process do you use in your photo composition? Personally I have the same approach as when playing golf.........moer-en-soek becomes mik-en-druk.......like this one.

He also needs to be sprayed.......for a neuter image. Deep purple colour scheme.......think it is called catchaballsoffglitz
