I am doing the 45km. First time doing this race. I am looking at doing either the Winter Fast one on 1 May (35km) or the De Wildt MTB on 10 May (35km) as a preparation race. Can you guys comment on which of these prep races you think will be better. Haven't been able to find out much info on these two races.

So i went to visit the official website for this MTB route...http://cradlemtb.wordpress.com/trail-map/ I'm battling to understand something... once you reach the Kloofzicht lodge from the R374, do you turn left at the circle, or do you carry on over the circle towards Kloofzicht lodge?

Hi All! I am a MTB'er, but have recently revived my Road Bike for occasional use. I need to fit new tyres, and have been looking at some options. I can get Arisun Allure Road tyres for R250 each. However, I cannot find any reviews out there! Does anybody have real experience with these tyres? Would you recommend or not for occasional use? puncture susceptibility? or should i rather go for Michelin Lithion 2 or Vittoria's at a similar price? Cheers, Byron
