  1. Buddy, i have the same wheels, same kit and the R150 wire crossmarks. they have 4137km on them, still sealed. STOP WASTING YOUR TIME THINKING..... Go buy the stuff, fit it, and go ride your bike.... ....or what happens is, you find yourself spending tooooo much time on the Hub, and the machine you spent a **** load of money on, just stands and gathers dust, cause you waiting on other peopls opinion as o what you should do... Thats about as straight forward as i can be.. Welcome to the Hub
  2. i rode one at the wiesenhof 24hr. the only advice i can give you is: If you have the money for one, go and ride one..... if you dont have the money DONT ride one, cause everything else you ride after that, will just feel like alot of crap.
  3. he should ride a Giant. he'll win the Tour on day 1
  4. Does anyone know of a good Chain-cleaning-recovery drink? other than "Chain-Recover" its quite good, the Strawberry one.. 8 years ago, we just rode our bike, more and more and more... Now all the bits and rituals that goes with it, just makes one tired, even before the ride... cause i swear some of you oaks, while on your ride, thinks about how you will be cleaning it after... THERE IS HELP...GET IT!!!! GET IT FAST!!!
  5. What about duralube or prolong, both treats the metal??? if it does what it says, once treated the metal of the chain and cassete should be protected. Most problems comes about when a chain is cleaned to often, more importantly what it is cleaned with, cause its that stuff that makes your chain shine, that hase washed out all the lube between the links. ive tried most lubes, this works for me. Clean all the crap from that chain, everything, even if it means putting it in petrol.. then wash it with soap and water and let it dry.. when you pick it up every bloody link should be making a noise. now lube each link with finish line wet lube. an hour later take a dry cloth and wipe it clean, clean, clean Put it back on your bike (clean your chain rings, cas and rear der wheels) Go ride. get back home wash whatever dirt is on it off with a hose. go ride The lube is inside, no need to cover the whole chain with it.
  6. it needs a service, mines starting after 8 months. mine will get its first one free next week... after that, i dont know, heard its expensive. the top of the right leg has a blu lever (lock-out) i was told its either fully open or locked NOT anywhere in between.. Perhaps someone can explain that...
  7. Go to Bridge cycle. They will tell you how many time a SpecialK has been in for blown seals in the rear shock, they will tell you how many times a rear shock has completly failed. That company cannot even build a relaiable non cracking road frame. Do you really want to put your ass on there stuff. Anthem or Spark.... in months from now to come back to this very page, and read on what people have told you.
  8. Specialised have rear shock problems, lots of them.. Your Scott will be the best allrounder The Anthem is Exhilarating I ride a Scott, but that Anthem is Pin Point Acurate...

  22. i have a scale 40. Dtswiss wheels. very very quick bike. race geometry.
  23. Slave2 love i was thinking the same ting bout weight. well i went out and bought the stuff R60 and a tube of bostik they going into my mtb wheels (7 punctures in yesterdays race) all thorns. got home and put them on the scale. they are 72gr each. bostik'd them in lightly. nice tight fit, no overlap. i stood in Olympic with a Stans kit in my hand, ready to pay and Jason asks me. " hey now wot bout all your other tires" yes i have 5 pairs ao different sizes and tread patterns. one wet set, one dry XC set, crossmarks, Geax. and Bontragers. so it means everytime i decied to do some rough stuff, its change the tires and sealant and all the K@K process over and over again... its just a big lus.... So now the liners are in and i must say to the weight weenis out there, my bikes now 4.5kg heavier. i wonder if any of them realises that the liners weigh less than a morning crap.
