  2. for all the guys out there with style sense... is it a big no no to convert a standard road frame to tt frame by putting tribars on it?? so no tri extensions, full on ritchey hammer head style of thing.

yeah i've given that some thought too, think i'm gonna try it out for a bit
  8. hi guys. i've got an arione on my road bike and have done about 1000k's with it, but it's just not comfying up nicely. i've got a gobi on my mountie and it is the business, so, my question is this: should i give the arione a bit more time to settle or should it have settled by now?

  13. i think it might be good for the industry. no longer will bike engineers be limited by other companies spec's but they will get free reign to design as they please. specialized is a prime example. it will also create an environment where if a certain part/bike setup fail, the bike company will have to take full responsibility as they designed the parts themselves. accountability.
  14. yeah i read once that you should have four chains that you use over a 24mont period to reduce wear. each chain will wear your cassette and chainwheels differently and on different spots as the chains are not identical. my 2c's
  15. yeah i'l also offer half if i were you. 90 buffaloes seem a bit steepjpb132008-11-08 05:05:51

I'm not interested in the guy at the LBS (God bless them though!!) just giving it a quick glance over, I want a professional overview. Thanks
