clever straps, they never stretch or flare at the ends where its not in contact with the velcro..... the white is cool but the read/black....might cook your feet in the sun

results on the site are wrong????? missing lots of names...i rode did a sub 3 and result not up...friend who did the epic some how did the 55km route aswell???? R180 for a entry its not really value for money... but great route/track nice and challenging....

so for the 1st mtb race ever, what would your advice be? 55km.... is it a tough route? fun? where can we collect race packs? what time do we need to be like lined up for the race? how long before? i know the road you warm up before, as necesary to do in the mountain??? what do we take to collect our race numbers? thanks

so many mixed reviews, thinking the giant xtc carbon composite, but will only be out in about 6months time, and then can upgrade groupset later stage......

no im not there was i bike review of the carbon one, someone posted on the hub actually...... not sure where though...

price not sure, shops havnt got them yet but will be getting soon, so will see/ but its the best option carbon frame will be lighter and then can upgrade the groupset slowly?

no i have none looking at the giant or cannondale, the merida/scott are not the same, shock is alot lower...... the giant comes out in full carbon now so the carbon giant?

the flash 1 is what im talking about and the giant xtc 29er is the other................. both alu. frames...... they about 500grams different.....

as i said, ive corrected the full xtr thingy. to slx justa bit further down............ 5000 difference between the two....

so now ive heard go cannondale they are the best and then go giant they are the best.....confusion confusion..... pro's and cons of each? much appreceated thanks

no, both aluminium, the lefty is not carbon and weighs 10.77 the giant whit XTC sorry is 11.2kg price 5000 difference between them..... the bikes are brand new and are not build ups, its how they come... the cannondale has a x9 rear derailer the rest x7.....the giant is a full shimano groupset+brakes...... so which would it be and why? what your thoughts? good enough for a decent epic? where can i ride before i buy? or borrow a demo bike? ive tried a gary fisher trek one, was price +dual suspension.... thanks

hi all, i need help. which bike would you choose and why? the cannondale flash 29er 1, x9 rear derailer the rest is x7 with a fsa carbon 2x10 crank....lefty shock or the giant xtc 29er, full xtr groupset and fox fork.... new to the mtb scence but raced road for few years, what would you recommend/why? and thoughts on doing the epic on them aswell. tacx one im borrowing at the moment, electro magnet breaking, tells you everything from pawer to average heart rate,spee,cadence,average spee,max,avg HR,maxHR,......use a simple up/down button for gradient and power changing...easy easy and nice looks expensive

go for easton...they wont break and are built for cyclo-cross

Wouldnt want to race with anything except tubbies, they are simply amazing! easy,fast,look cool and dont stop
