    Cape Pioneer

Hi Folks Anybody interested in sharing a ride up to Oudtshoorn for the Cape Pioneer? I plan on leaving Stellenbosch early morning 11 October.
  3. Hi My mountainbike needs a lift to knysna from cape town this weekend, and he'd be more than prepared to pay for juice. please, it's a matter of life and death.
  4. Ja, it was lekker, no complaints about the route. Mud is to be expected, as well as sand. The heat made the day very tough...36 degree heat
  5. Riksha's are currently on special, R3400, including nationwide delivery. We're re-doing our website, hope to have a online order sytem running within the next week.
  6. Chaps, have a loo at a product called the Riksha, it's a south african designed bike trailer, and it doubles up as a really good stroller. It connect really easily to your bike, and has a swivel pivot, enabling the trailer to stay upright even if you fall. You can ride loads, with your kid safely behind you... Check out http://www.riksha.co.za
  7. thanks...still looking forward to moving to the coast
  8. Hi I'm moving down to Hout Bay next month, and would love to know if there are any good mtb routes around there. I presume there should be...some advise would be great...
  9. Hi, i fractured my t7 vertebrae almost three weeks ago, doing a stupid headplant at groenies. It hurts like hell,Im stuck in bed for two months, and i wont be able to cycle for 6 months. But...i will cycle again, nothing will stop me from getting on my mountainbike again. Dreams of harkerville, tokai, magoebaskloof and even the thought of riding a basic jeep track keep me inspired! Dont let anything stop you from riding again!
  10. Ha-ha...ja, it's not Bloem. I reckon the chaps down in the cape are just spoilt for choice. And it's: SAFE. The thing for me is i don't wanna get in my car and drive somewhere to ride, i just wanna get on and ride from my doorstep.
  11. Hi Just wondering, where would you say is the best mountainbiking town in SA? Could it be Knysna, Stellenbosch? Haenertsburg, PMB? Taking everything into account, bike parks, singletrack, scenery, safety etc?
