I was given this locally made Sancini by a friend. This frame was so well built. It has Columbus SLX tubing, Columbus lugs and Cinelli BB shell. Wanting to build her up for next years Tour of Ara... The frame never got a chance to get painted as the factory close before they could. Im wanting to give her a good polish, then shoot a clear coat. Local is lekker....

I prefer riding rigid over suspension. My technique has improved and line selection is better. I feel I’m a lot faster on my rigid, then when I was using a suspension fork.

So I managed to get the parts I needed for my Zini from Hunters. But Im still in need of: - Track pedals with toe clips - Track chainring 144 bcd any size between 48T - 52T If you have anything please let me know. Thanks

So I haven’t had a retro build/project for awhile, so I got a lovely Zini track bike from a fellow hubber. Thanks Evan…. It looks like the frame isn’t a locally made Zini. It has the Z pantagraph on the fork and Campy dropouts. There are no decals to indicate which tubing was used, but the frame is light. So I’m taking a guess its columbus SL or similar. The frame is very well put together. The frame overall is in good condition. It just has some rust on the BB shell and dropouts, which I’m thinking of cleaning up and then getting it clear coated.

I have Rob, but Grant told me that Paul doesn't make them anymore. But they are designing a new one. Sprocket and Jack built up my surly for me.

yeah its a QR. But I know Niner does a TA 29er fork and Salsa does one too. They will be able to sort you out with something.

Quiet a big difference in terms of weight even though I've gone for a steel fork. I really like how it corners, but haven't done anything too technical yet. But I do want to get a 2.4 tyre up front though.
