  1. Hi dirtcrazy! It might not be the best (who am I to know), but I find the spinning classes really good. I know it's not 80min, but you can do some light weights after the spin class. The spin class is probably the best fitness workout you'll get in the 45-60min. I spin every morning and don't have to worry about getting cold or the dark or safety for that matter. And I'm sure as hell not going to push myself as hard when I'm out alone on my bike... Just my 2 cents worth.
  2. I think if they keep up the quality (like in the launch ed), the mag will have a great future. Good stuff!!
  3. Thanks! Now I will have to wait until the Nissan Diamond Rush before getting to a decent shop to get my hands on one. Ag well, at least we don't have rush hour...
  4. Okay, I'm a little bit in the stix - is the 2nd edition out yet, or are you still going on about the first (launch) edition??
  5. Ya' date=' it probably was. Just the same is it was probably safer for the OP to have passengers in his car without their seatbelts on, and probably why it is safer for him to speed when he feels he wont get caught. [/quote'] Are you doing okay over there? Seriously. I do get caught for speeding, but I staan pa for that. Me. Honestly speaking I don't think the kid made the comment cause he knows who the HOP riders are or that it was them. He saw okes riding their bikes without a helmet on and couldn't understand why his dad is trying to make him wear one. Even when riding just down the road to Pana KUK. Some of you remind me of a guy I worked with. He would fight and argue and spit and scream ANY opposing point of view. I'm sure if I posted that I saw HOP ride helmetless and I think it's a great idea for people to decide what they want to do, some of you (TNT) would argue that it's not safe and the law is the law. Clearly you've also never been sponsored jack so you won't know or understand the responsibility you have towards the guy putting money in your pocket. Directly or indirectly. And yes, I went to HOP'S website to drop them an email. You show me the Contact Us link and I'll drop them the email. I'm not hiding, I'm not ranting I'm posting my cycling related topic on a cycling forum. I don't jump on here every weekend when roadies ride four abreast and then complain next weekend when anotherokegot knocked down. These are professionals who should act accordingly. Amen Brother!
  6. Okay, so they set a bad example. What about our own kids (mine still a bit too young to ride)? Do they wear helmets to school? I don't see many that do...
  7. I'm 172cm, 82kgs... Do you have one that will fit me?
  8. Very very nice. But it'll be lost on a child of that age won't it?
  9. Thanks, I'll use the tel numbers and see what I can get done. You never know, government might just surprise us!
  10. I've look at the dep of health site, there's no area for complaints. I suppose I can fire an email in general but I don't think anything wil come from it. My problem is that the smoking is inside, the only place where you can be served food. There's plenty of tables outside where management and staff could smoke, but they just could not be bothered. I'm just gatvol of having to suck it up. My wife's pregnant, my boy's 18 months. I would have avoided the place if there was somewhere else, but the kids love the animals (not talking about management here).
  11. Hi guys, is there anyone who knows how to go about laying a complaint against the owners who insist on smoking in family establishments. I know this is a old and boring topic, but I spent a good 45min searching on the net looking for health inspectors etc. to no avail. Thing is, I live in Middelburg (can you feel my pain?). We have a local aviary/ aquarium/ pet shop/ tea garden, with a big childrens area. This is the only place to go for a light lunch where your kids can look at and interact with some of the animals. The owners and staff of the restaurant have a big smoking sign up inside. The cashier smokes behind the counter and occasionally goes into the kitchen while smoking. I mean, there's no designated areas, and I've never really seen any customers smoking. This is a really neat place otherwise, but it caters mainly for families with young children. There's always small children in the restaurant area. Surely something can be done?!! Any advise or help line will be appreciated...
